Introduction of Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme
- Chief Minister Maiyya Scheme of Jharkhand Government is the major welfare scheme started for women of Jharkhand.
- The main aim of starting this scheme is to empower women financially so that they can not dependent financially anymore on anyone.
- Earlier the name of this financial assistance scheme is “Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Bahan Beti Swavalamban Yojana”.
- But Jharkhand Government now renamed this scheme to “Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana” and launched it.
- Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme is well known by some other prominent names such as “Jharkhand “Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Scheme” or “Chief Minister Mahila Samman Yojana” or “Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Yojana”.
- Jharkhand Government will now through this scheme provides Rs. 12,000/- in a year to every women of Jharkhand.
- Financial Assistance provided under Chief Minister Maiyya Scheme will be distributed on monthly basis among eligible women beneficiaries.
- Rs. 1,000/- per month as a financial support will be provided to all eligible women under Chief Minister Maiyya Scheme of Jharkhand Government.
- This financial assistance scheme of Jharkhand Government is not for all women.
- Women Beneficiary whose age is above 21 years and below 50 year are only eligible to apply for Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana.
- Any one i.e. Green/ Yellow/ White/ Pink Ration Card is mandatorily required at the time of registration.
- Registration of Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme is starting from 03-08-2024.
- The last date to fill the Application Form of Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme is 10-08-2024.

Benefits of Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme
- The following benefits will be provided under Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme to all women of Jharkhand whose age is between 21 years to 50 years :-
- Yearly Financial Assistance of Rs. 12,000/-.
- Financial Assistance will be provided as Monthly basis.
- Women Applicant will get Rs. 1,000/- per Month.
Eligibility Conditions of Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme
- Women Applicant will only gets the benefit of per month financial assistance of Rs. 1,000/- if she fulfil the below mentioned eligibility conditions of Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme of Jharkhand Government :-
- Only Permanent Resident of Jharkhand are Eligible to Apply.
- Women Applicant Age must be above 21 years and below 50 years.
- Voter ID Card and Aadhar Card is mandatorily required for Registration.
- Women Applicant Bank Account should be Aadhar Linked.
- Holder of any of the following cards are eligible to apply :-
- Green Ration Card.
- White Ration Card. (K-Oil Ration Card)
- Yellow Ration Card. (Antyodaya Anna Yojana)
- Pink Ration Card. (Grahasth Card)
Ineligibility Conditions of Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme
- Government of Jharkhand sets the following ineligibility conditions of Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme :-
- There should be no Income Tax Payer in a Family.
- Women Applicant should not be registered in EPFO.
- Women Applicant and her Husband should not be Central/ State/ PSU Employee.
- There should be no Pensioner at Home.
- There should be No Current or Retired MP/ MLA at Home.
- There should be no beneficiary of any Social Security Scheme.
Documents Required for Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme
- The following documents are mandatorily required at the time of applying for financial assistance under Jharkhand Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme :-
- Self Declaration Form.
- Aadhar Card of Women.
- Voter ID of Women.
- Passport Size Photograph of Women.
- Copy of Bank Passbook First Page.
- Any one Ration Card :-
- Yellow Ration Card.
- White Ration Card.
- Pink Ration Card.
- Green Ration Card.
- Mobile Number.
Application Process of Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme
- Women applicant can apply for per month financial assistance of Rs. 1,000/- under Jharkhand Government’s Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme by filling the Application Form.
- In the initial phase of scheme, Government of Jharkhand will organize special camps for women in every Anganwadi Centre and Gram Panchayat.
- Anganwadi Worker/ Sevika will also distribute CM Maiyya Samman Scheme Application Form door to door.
- Registration Camps for Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme will start from 03-08-2024.
- Women Applicants can visit those camps to Register themselves under Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme of Jharkhand Government.
- Officers present at camps will help women applicants to fill the Application Form of Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme.
- It is mandatory to attach Voter ID and Aadhar Card with the Application Form.
- Officers will verify the Aadhar Card and Passport Size Photograph of Women Applicant and submit the Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme Application Form after verification.
- Department of Women and Child Development will scrutinized the received application form and documents.
- Selected Women will be informed through SMS on their registered mobile number about their selection for per month financial assistance.
- Financial Assistance of Rs. 1,000/- per month will be then transferred in the bank account of women beneficiary.
- Registration for Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme will start from 03-08-2024 and the last date to apply for this scheme in camps is 10-08-2024.
- Women Applicant can also apply after 10-08-2024 for Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme by visiting any nearest Pragya Centre.
