I am Tabassum – a government schemes researcher and content writer with over 5 years of experience dedicated exclusively to tracking and explaining Central and State Government welfare schemes across India.
I started GovtSchemesIndia.com because I noticed a real problem – most people who are eligible for government schemes never apply simply because the information is too complicated, too scattered, or buried in jargon. My goal is to fix that by translating official government announcements, budget documents, and policy updates into clear, simple language that any Indian citizen can read and act on.
Over the years I have covered 500+ schemes across categories including agriculture, women welfare, housing, education, health, and social security – for both the Central Government and state governments across India. Every article on this site is researched directly from official sources such as government press releases, PIB announcements, official budget documents, and department websites.
I do not copy content from other websites. I do not pad articles with unnecessary information. If a scheme’s details change — new deadline, revised amount, updated eligibility – I update the article.
