Introduction of Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana: A Brief Insight

• Haryana Government launched Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana, popular as HAPPY Scheme, on 07-03-2024.
• The main objective of the Haryana Government behind starting this scheme is to reduce the financial expenses which is incurred during travelling in buses.
• This scheme is implemented by the Transport Department of the Haryana Government.
• Government of Haryana has specifically started this scheme for Antyodaya Families of the State.
• Family Members of Antyodaya Families can now avail the benefit of free of cost travel in Haryana Roadways Buses.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• HAPPY Card, through which beneficiaries can avail the benefit of free of cost travel of 1,000 Km in a year, will only be issued to those beneficiaries who fulfill the following eligibility criteria of Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana of Haryana Government :-
  • Only Permanent Resident Antyodaya Families of Haryana are Eligible.
  • Having a Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP Card) is mandatory.
