Introduction of Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Sushasan Fellowship Yojana: A Brief Insight

• Chhattisgarh Government launched the Mukhyamantri Sushasan Fellowship Yojana in November 2024.
• The programme is designed to bring young professionals into governance and policy execution, boosting administrative efficiency and public impact.
• This scheme is implemented by the Department of Good Governance & Convergence of the Chhattisgarh Government in a partnership with the Indian Institute of Management Raipur.
• The Government of Chhattisgarh will sponsor the entire tuition fees for the selected candidates for MBA from IIM Raipur in Public Policy and Governance.
• The full course fees with boarding and lodging will be borne by the Government.
• Under the Mukhyamantri Sushasan Fellowship Yojana, the selected student will experience the following learning outcomes :-
  • Classroom Training on Governance, Public Policy and Administration in IIM Raipur.
  • Practical Training in Government Departments and Districts, which provides real-world exposure.
  • Fellows will work on key governance challenges on the Action Learning Project.
• Selected fellows will also receive Rs. 50,000/- per month assistance from the Chhattisgarh Government under the Mukhyamantri Sushasan Fellowship Yojana.
• Through the CM Sushasan Fellowship Scheme of the Chhattisgarh Government, the graduate students will gain expertise in public policy roles, governance consulting and leadership positions in government and the private sector.
• Graduate Passed students who have a valid CAT Score and whose age is less than 35 years is eligible to apply for fellowship under Mukhyamantri Sushasan Fellowship Yojana, alias Chief Minister Good Governance Scheme.
• Government of Chhattisgarh will notify every year regarding admission in MBA from IIM Raipur under this scheme.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• Chhattisgarh Government will provide the following benefits to all selected students under Mukhyamantri Sushasan Fellowship Yojana, alias Chief Minister’s Good Governance Scheme :-
  • Free Enrolment in the MBA Course in IIM Raipur in Public Policy and Governance.
  • Government of Chhattisgarh will pay the entire fees for enrolled students.
  • Cost of Boarding and Lodging will also be covered by the Government.
  • Chance to work with Government Departments.
  • A monthly stipend of Rs. 50,000/- will also be provided to selected students.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• The benefits of Mukhyamantri Sushasan Fellowship Yojana of Chhattisgarh Government will be provided to only those students who fulfil the below mentioned eligibility criteria of the scheme :-
  • Permanent Resident Students of Chhattisgarh are eligible to apply.
  • The beneficiary student should have a valid CAT Scorecard.
  • The Age of the student should not be more than 35 years.
  • A student should have passed Graduation with a minimum 60% marks. (55% for Reserved)
  • Students who have passed CA/ CMA (ICWA)/ CS must required minimum 50% marks.
  • Beneficiary Students should have to deposit a Rs. 1 lakh refundable security deposit fee at the time of admission.

• The following documents will be required at the time of availing the benefit of Chhattisgarh Government’s Mukhyamantri Sushashan Fellowship Yojana :-
  • Domicile of Chhattisgarh.
  • CAT Scorecard.
  • Class 10 Marksheet.
  • Class 12th Marksheet.
  • SC/ ST/ OBC/ PWD Certificate. (As Applicable)
  • Marksheet of Graduation.
  • Colour Photo.
  • Scanned Signature.
  • Email ID.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Bank Account Number with IFSC Code.

How Beneficiaries Can Apply to Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• Eligible Students can apply online for the Chhattisgarh Government’s Mukhyamantri Sushasan Fellowship Yojana.
• The Online Application Form of Mukhyamantri Sushasan Yojana is available on the IIM Raipur Official Website.
• Visit the Official Portal and choose MBA in Public Policy and Governance from the Programmes Tab.
  
• A new window will appear in which details about the Chief Minister’s Good Governance Fellowship (CMGGF) is provided.
• Read the information thoroughly and select Apply Online from the left sidebar.
  
• Click on the register button and provide the necessary details like email id and phone number for registration.
• Login on the portal again with the help of the Login ID and Password.
  
• A Mukhyamantri Sushasan Fellowship Yojana Online Application Form will appear, which will be filled in the following steps :-
  • Personal Information.
  • Academic Information.
  • Professional Information.
  • Other Information.
• Check all the filled information and click on the submit button to submit the online application form.
• The submitted online applications will be checked by the officials of the IIM Raipur.
• Candidates eligible and shortlisted will then be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview.
• IIM Raipur will then release the Admission to Offer to the finally selected students under Mukhyamantri Sushasan Fellowship Yojana.
• A separate list of students will also be forwarded to Government Officials for the release of the monthly stipend and the payment of programme fees.
• Selected Students will have to submit the caution deposit of Rs. 1,00,000/-, which is refundable.
