Introduction of Telangana Indiramma Low Income Group (LIG) Housing Scheme: A Brief Insight
Rapid urbanisation has made home ownership increasingly difficult for many low-income families in Hyderabad. Rising land prices and housing costs have forced thousands of families to depend on rented accommodation despite living and working in the city for many years. To improve access to affordable urban housing, the Telangana Government launched the Indiramma Low Income Group (LIG) Housing Scheme on 20 July 2026. Applications for the Indiramma Low Income Group (LIG) Housing Scheme are accepted through MeeSeva Centres and the MeeSeva WhatsApp Service from 21 July 2026 to 10 August 2026.
