Introduction of AMU RCA Judicial Services Free Coaching Program: A Brief Insight

• Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is a prestigious institution, widely recognized for delivering high-quality education across various disciplines.
• The university houses a dedicated unit known as the Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), which offers free coaching programs for competitive exams such as for Civil Services, Judicial Services and SSC CGL.
• Every year, RCA AMU selects 100 students through a nationwide entrance test to provide specialized coaching for the Judicial Services Examination.
• Under the AMU RCA Judicial Services Free Coaching Program, selected candidates receive comprehensive coaching for both Prelims and Mains over a span of 10 months, which is completely free of cost.
• While the coaching is free, students may be required to pay nominal charges related to other facilities such as hostel fees, mess fees etc. or any other administrative needs.
• Candidates who have completed their graduation in the Law stream are eligible to apply for this entrance exam of AMu RCA Judicial Services Free Coaching Program.
• However, the coaching program is exclusively open to students from minority communities, Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and women students.
• To support outstation students, the AMU Residential Coaching Academy also offers separate hostel accommodation for boys and girls within the campus premises.
• Additionally, students belonging to economically weaker sections may also be eligible for freeship or scholarship benefits during the coaching period, which is about Rs. 2,000/- per month.
• The application process for the 2026 Judicial Services preparation program is currently open, and eligible candidates can submit their applications until the 15th of August 2025.
• The entrance examination for this free coaching program will take place on 25th September 2025.
• The results are expected to be announced by 30th September 2025 (tentative date).

  • Students will benefit from regular test series for both Prelims and Mains, along with personalized mentorship from experienced professionals.
  • Eligible students can also avail of the hostel accommodation during the coaching period.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Aligarh Muslim University sets the following eligibility criteria of the AMU RCA Judicial Services Free Coaching Program, and only those students are eligible to take part in the entrance test who fulfill it :-
  

  Applicant Student should have completed their Graduation in Law. Applicant students belonging to the following categories are eligible to apply :- Minority Communities. SC. (Scheduled Caste) ST. (Scheduled Tribe) Women. Student currently in their final year of law graduation and residing within Aligarh District may also apply. (Provided they obtain prior approval from the competent authority) Applicant Students must be eligible to appear for the Preliminary Examination of Judicial Services for the year 2026.

• Aligarh Muslim University Residential Coaching Academy has a dedicated portal “https://oaps.amuonline.ac.in/login” through which students register themselves for the entrance exam.
• Open the portal and select Sign Up.
• Enter the following details in the sign-up form :-

• Click on Register after filling in all the details.

Selection Procedure

• Selection for the AMU RCA Judicial Services Free Coaching Program will be strictly based on merit.
• Students will be shortlisted based on their performance in the entrance examination.
• The entrance exam comprises two sections, both are OMR-based with 100 multiple-choice questions from Law and General Knowledge with a total duration of 2 hours from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM.
• The examination will be conducted in three languages: English and Hindi, offering flexibility for students from diverse backgrounds.
• Those who clear the entrance exam of AMU RCA Judicial Services Free Coaching Program will be invited to join the prestigious residential coaching academy of India.
