Introduction of Atiya Foundation RCA Free Civil Services Coaching Programme: A Brief Insight

The Atiya Foundation RCA Free Civil Services Coaching Programme is a fully free residential coaching initiative run by Atiya Health and Education Foundation (AHEF), a CSR-driven organisation established in 2010. The foundation works in the fields of education and health with the goal of uplifting students from economically weaker and disadvantaged sections of Indian society. Its residential coaching arm, known as Atiya Residential Coaching Academy (ARCA), prepares meritorious students for the Union Public Service Commission’s Civil Services Examination (UPSC CSE), completely free of cost.

The mission of Atiya Foundation is to identify and guide students who can contribute to nation-building through civil services and help them develop Indian values and ethos. Its vision is to ensure that innovative, imaginative, and talented youth, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds, get a genuine opportunity to join the civil services. The foundation believes that the best administrators are those who stay connected to the ground-level realities of society.

Every year, the foundation conducts a National Level Written Entrance Examination across 11 cities in India, New Delhi, Bhopal, Srinagar, Jammu, Lucknow, Patna, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Allahabad, and Mumbai, to select meritorious students based on merit alone. This makes the selection process transparent and open to deserving candidates from across the country. The entrance test is followed by a Personal Interview held in Delhi for those who qualify for the written test.

Once selected, students get an extraordinary range of free benefits. The foundation provides free coaching in the best institutes, free hostel accommodation with well-furnished rooms, free mess facility, a 24×7 air-conditioned library stocked with daily newspapers and monthly magazines, high-speed Wi-Fi, regular test series for both Prelims and Mains, and frequent interaction with in-service officers and successful civil servants. All of this comes at absolutely zero cost to the student, there is no coaching fee, no hostel fee, and no application fee of any kind.

To be eligible, a candidate must be an Indian citizen who has completed graduation from a recognised university. The applicant’s age must be between 21 and 32 years as on 1st August 2026. Age relaxation of 5 years applies to SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates. Candidates who are currently enrolled in any full-time or part-time course or are employed anywhere are not eligible to apply.
