Introduction of Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana: A Brief Insight
- Legislative Assembly Election will going to be held soon in Union Territory of Delhi.
- The present AAP Government is working very hard to win the upcoming election to form government again in Delhi.
- AAP Supremo Arvind Kejriwal makes a move and announced two biggest welfare schemes for the people of Delhi.
- One scheme name is “Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme” which is for the women in which monthly financial assistance will be provided.
- And the other major welfare scheme is “Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana” which is started for the welfare of Old Age People of Delhi.
- The tagline of this scheme is “Service and Respect for the Elderly”.
- The main objective behind starting this scheme is to ensure that every old age people of Delhi will get proper medical care without thinking about the expenses.
- The other well known and popular name of this scheme are “Delhi Chief Minister Sanjeevani Scheme” or “Delhi Chief Minister Sanjeevani Yojana”.
- Delhi Government will now provide free of cost medical treatment to all old age people of Delhi under Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana.
- All Old Age People whose Age is 60 Years or More will get Free and Unlimited Medical Treatment.
- Expenses incurred on medical treatment of beneficiaries in all Government and Private Hospital will be borne by the Government of Delhi.
- There is no Maximum or Minimum Annual Income Limit fixed by Delhi Government in order to avail the benefit of free of cost treatment under Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana.
- Also there is no maximum medical treatment limit like Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana will provide unlimited treatment.
- Beneficiaries should have valid Voter Identity Card of Delhi, those people who doesn’t have Voter ID Card of Delhi are not eligible to get free of cost and unlimited medical treatment under Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana.
- It is to be estimated that around 25 Lakh Old Age People currently living in Delhi will get the benefit of free of cost treatment under Delhi Government’s Mukhyamantri Sanjivani Yojana.
- Government of Delhi has also not fixed any exclusion criteria or there is no ineligibility criteria. every 60 years or above age people are eligible to get benefits under this scheme.
- Registration under Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana is started and AAP workers will visit the doorstep of every house and registered each and every eligible beneficiary under this scheme.
- Each registered beneficiary will get blue colored Sanjeevani Yojana Card or Kejriwal Kavach Card.
- This Kejriwal Kavach Card will be used by the beneficiaries to get free of cost and unlimited treatment under Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana.
- But this scheme will only implement in Delhi if somehow AAP led Arvind Kejriwal Government wins the upcoming assembly elections of Delhi.
- Beneficiary can get registered under this scheme now but will have to wait till election in order to avail the benefits.

- Old Age People of Delhi will get the following benefits under Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana after its implementation :-
- Free of Cost Medical Treatment to all Old Age People.
- There should be No Upper Expense Limit.
- Expenses Covers Treatment in Government and Private Hospital.
Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled
- Free of Cost Medical Treatment under Delhi Government’s Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana will be provided to only those beneficiaries who fulfill the following eligibility conditions of scheme :-
- Permanent Residents of Delhi are Eligible to Apply.
- Beneficiary Age should be 60 Years or More.
- There should be No Maximum Annual Income Limit.
- There should be No Exclusion and No Limits.
Documents Required to be Attached
- Documents that are required at the time of registration under Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana of Delhi Government are mentioned below :-
- Voter Identity Card of Delhi.
- Mobile Number.
- Aadhar Card of Beneficiary.
How Beneficiaries Can Avail the Benefit of this Scheme
- Aam Aadmi Party workers will visit door to door at every house and registered beneficiaries in Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana.
- AAP volunteers will ask the mobile number of beneficiaries and missed call on a particular number to get them registered.
- A Unique Registration Number will then received on beneficiary mobile number through SMS.
- Every eligible old age person of Delhi will get blue colored Sanjeevani Yojana Card which is popularly known as Kejriwal Kavach Card.
- AAP workers will note down the received Sanjeevani Yojana Registration Number on Kejriwal Kavach Card and note down the details of beneficiaries on their list also.
- Voter Identity Card is mandatorily needed in order to registered under Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana of Delhi Government.
- It is to be hereby noted that only registration is started of Delhi Government Sanjeevani Yojana.
- This scheme will only be implemented in Delhi if somehow Aam Aadmi Party wins the upcoming elections and formed the government again in Delhi.
- This means that free of cost health treatment under Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana will be provided to old age beneficiaries only after the assembly elections of Delhi in the year 2025.
- So old age people of delhi will have to wait little bit more in order to get free of cost treatment under Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Yojana.
