Farmers of Telangana will now get yearly financial assistance of Rs. 12,000/- per acre per year under Rythu Bharosa Scheme. Farmers having cultivatable agricultural land are eligible to apply for this scheme.

Introduction of Rythu Bharosa Scheme: A Brief Insight

• Congress Party announced lots of welfare scheme for the people of Telangan at the time of election.
• They win the election and since then Congress Party led Telangana Government slowly slowly fulfilling their election promises.
• Out of total six election guarantees, Congress Party fulfilled “Mahalakshmi Scheme” “Gruha Jyothi Scheme” “Indiramma Indlu Housing Scheme” and “Cheyutha Pension Scheme”.
• Remaining two promises which are pending to fulfilled are “Rythu Bharosa Scheme” and “Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme”.
• Now Telangana Government cabinet gave the approval to launch both the pending schemes.
• Both Indiramma Atmeeya Bharosa Scheme and Rythu Bharosa Scheme will be launched by the government on 26-01-2025 on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day.
• Rythu Bharosa Scheme is the investment support scheme specifically started for the welfare of farmers.
• The main aim behind starting this scheme is to stable the income of farmers so that they can not rely on their agricultural income.
• This scheme will also known by some other names after its implementation which are “Rythu Bandhu Agricultural Investment Support Scheme” or “Rythu Bharosa Pathakam” or “Telangana Financial Assistance Scheme for Farmers”.
• Telangana Government will provide yearly financial assistance to all eligible farmers to increase their income under this scheme.
• Farmers will get financial assistance of Rs. 12,000/- per acre per year under Rythu Bharosa Scheme of Telangana Government.
• Earlier BRS party led Government also run this scheme in Telangana with same name in which financial assistance of Rs. 10,000/- yearly had given to farmers.
• During election, Congress Party had promised to give Rs. 15,000/- per acre per year to farmers.
• But due to financial condition of State, current Telangana Government decided to give financial assistance of Rs. 12,000/- per acre per year to farmers which is still Rs. 2,000/- more from previous Government.
• Farmers of Telangana who has cultivable agricultural land are eligible to get this yearly financial assistance under Rythu Bharosa Scheme.
• Landless Tenants Farmers and Agricultural Farm Labourers will also get financial assistance Rs. 12,000/- per year but under under Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme.
• Owners of Non-Agricultural Land which are used for commercial purpose are not eligible to apply for financial assistance under this scheme.
• Beneficiaries Farmers will have to wait till 26-01-2025, after its official launch the application process got started.
• District Magistrate of the concerned district will have the responsibility to implement Rythu Bharosa Scheme in their respective district.
• In case of any help of assistance required about this scheme, farmers can contact their Gram Sabha or Gram Panchayat or District Magistrate Office.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• All Eligible Farmers of Telangana will get the following benefits under Government of Telangana’s Rythu Bharosa Scheme :-
  • Year Financial Assistance to Farmers will be Provided.
  • Financial Assistance will be Provided per Acre Per Year basis.
  • Each Farmers will get Rs. 12,000/- per Acre per Year Financial Assistance.
  • New Ration Cards will also Provided to Eligible People.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Financial Assistance of Rs. 12,000/- per Acre per Year under Rythu Bharosa Scheme of Telangana Government will only provided to those farmers who fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria set by Government :-
  • Only Farmers are Eligible to Apply.
  • Beneficiary Farmer should be a Permanent Resident of Telangana.
  • Beneficiary Farmers should have Cultivable Agricultural Land.
  • Beneficiary Farmer Land should be Registered in Dharani Portal.
  • ROFR Graduates are also eligible to apply for Rythu Bharosa Scheme.

Documents Required to be Attached

• Documents that are mandatorily required to be attached with the application form at the time of applying for yearly financial assistance under Rythu Bharosa Scheme of Telangana are as follows :-
  • Telangana Resident Proof or Domicile Certificate.
  • Beneficiary Farmer Aadhar Card.
  • Family Ration Card.
  • Land Ownership Related Documents.
  • Mobile Number.
  • Bank Account Number with IFSC Code.

How Beneficiaries Can Apply to Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• Rythu Bharosa Scheme and Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme, both will launch by Telangana Government on 26th of January 2024 on Republic Day.
• Application Process information of any of scheme is not available right now.
• Government of Telangana will decide the Application Procedure of Rythu Bharosa Scheme.
• If application is acception through Offline Application Form then forms will available free of cost at Gram Sabha or Gram Panchayat Office.
• And if the application from farmers is accepted online then Official Website of Rythu Bharosa Scheme can also launched by Telanagan Government.
• Other mode of applying for yearly financial assistance under this scheme through Meeseva Centres.
• So all eligible farmers of Telangana will have to wait little bit more in order to apply and get the benefits Rs. 12,000/- per acre per year financial assistance.
• Agriculture Department has also released the Official Guidelines of Rythu Bharosa Scheme.
• Application Form will also released very soon once it got launched on 26-01-2025.
• In the meantime, it is advisable to all Farmers that keep that documents ready.
