Introduction of Avval Balika Scheme: A Brief Insight

• BJP announced lots of welfare schemes at the time of the legislative assembly elections of Haryana.
• Avval Balika Scheme and Lado Lakshmi Scheme was the major welfare scheme announced by Bharatiye Janta Party at time of election.
• Now as we all know that BJP wins the election and succesfully forms the new government in Haryana.
• So they are under obligation to fulfil their election promises by launching their promised schemes.
• The other name of Avval Balika Scheme is going to be Avval Balika Yojana.
• The main objective behind announcing this scheme is to provide the safest and own mode of transport to girl students.
• Under Avval Balika Scheme, Government of Haryana will provide Scooty/ Scooter to college going girl students of State.
• Only College going Girl Student who are studying in those colleges which are situated in Haryana are eligible to avail the benefit of scooter/ scooty under Avval Balika Scheme.
• Girl Students residing in Rural Areas of Haryana are eligible under this scheme.
• Those College going Girl Students who are residing in Urban Area of Haryana are not eligible to get scooty under Avval Balika Scheme.
• Government of Haryana has not revealed yet whether they provide scooty free of cost to girl students or there will be a subsidy on the purchase of scooty.
• Concerned Department will frame the Guidelines of Avval Balika Scheme very soon thereafter the cabinet will give its approval and launched this scheme.

Benefits Provided to Girl Students under Scheme

• The government of Haryana under Avval Balika Scheme will provide the following benefits to College Going Girl Students :-
  • College-going Girl Students will get Scooty/ Scooter.
  • Haryana Government will provide Subsidy on Scooty Purchase or Provide it Free of Cost.

Eligibility Criteria Set for Girl Students

• Scooty/ Scooter under Avval Balika Scheme of Haryana Government will only provided to those Girls who fulfil the following eligibility conditions of scheme :-
  • Girl should be a College going Student.
  • Girl Student should be a Permanent Resident of Haryana.
  • Girl Students should be residing in Rural Areas of Haryana.
  • Girl Students should be Currently Studying in Colleges which are Situated in Haryana.
  • Remaining Eligibility Criteria of Avval Balika Scheme will be released after its launch.

Documents Required to Avail Benefits

• The documents mentioned in the below mentioned list will be mandatorily required at the time applying for Scooty/ Scooter under Haryana Government’s Avval Balika Scheme :-
  • Resident Proof of Haryana.
  • Copy of Parivar Pehchan Patra. (PPP Card)
  • Aadhar Card of Girl Student.
  • College Identity Card.
  • Bank Account Details.
  • Mobile Number.

How Girl Students Can Apply for Scooter

• College going Girl Students of Haryana can apply to get a Scooter under the Avval Valika Scheme by filling the Application Form.
• Application Form of Avval Balika Scheme is not available yet.
• Very soon the cabinet of Haryana Government will give its approval to launch this scheme.
• Concerned department will release the guidelines then in which Application Process of Avval Balika Scheme is given.
• Girl Student will have to wait little bit more in order to get Scooty.
• Haryana Government can also launch a dedicated portal of avval balika scheme if the application process is through Online Application Form.
• Otherwise the Offline Application Form of Avval Balika Yojana can be collected by Girl Student from their college.
