Introduction of Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana: A Brief Insight
- Every Senior Citizens has a wish to visit sacred religious pilgrimage places once before they die.
- Some of them didn’t capable to vist due to health issues and some of them are not financially sound to borne the expenses.
- Keeping this things in mind Haryana Government started “Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana in the State in the year 2023.
- The main objective of government behind starting this scheme is to help and support senior citizens of State so that they can visit famous pilgrimage places across country.
- Haryana Government will now provide a facility of free of cost visit to sacred religious places across country for senior citizens.
- Senior Citizen’s of age 60 years or more can apply for Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana and avail the benefit of free of cost visit to pilgrimage places in India.
- Travelling to religious places will be provided in 3rd Tier AC and AC Buses.
- Apart from free travelling, government of Haryana will also bear the cost of food, accommodation during the visit.
- Facility for attendent will only provided to those beneficiaries whose age is 80 year ore more.
- If any beneficiaries annual family income is more than Rs. 1,80,000/- the they are not eligible to apply for this scheme.
- Free of Cost Visit to Pilgrimage places will only provide once in a 3 year.
- Senior Citizens of Haryana can avail the benefit to visit Shri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya Dham, Patna Sahib, Varanasi, Ajmer Sharif, Nanded Sahib free of cost under Haryana Government’s Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana.
- This scheme is also known by some other popular names which are “Chief Minister Teerth Yatra Scheme Haryana” or “Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Scheme Haryana” or “Chief Minister Tirth Yatra Yojana Haryana”.
- Beneficiary can apply online for this scheme by visiting on Antyodaya Saral Portal of Haryana Government.
- Application can also filled at Atal Seva Kendra (CSC) by paying Rs. 10.
Eligible Pilgrimage Places under this Scheme
- Haryana Government will provide free of cost visit to any of the below mentioned sacred pilgrimage places under Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana :-
- Maha Kumbh in Pragraj, Uttar Pradesh.
- Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh.
- Shri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh.
- Patna Sahib in Bihar.
- Ajmer Sharif in Rajasthan.
- Nanded Sahib in Maharashtra.
Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries
- Government of Haryana will provide the following benefits to all senior citizens of State whose age is 60 years or more under its Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana :-
- Free of Cost Visit to Famous Pilgrimage Places across Country.
- Travelling to Pilgirmage Places will be provided in AC Buses or AC 3 Tier Coaches in Railways.
- Expenses on Travelling, Food, Accommodation will be borne by Haryana Government.
- 80 Years or more Age Beneficiary can take Attentendent with themselves by paying 50% Ticket Fare.
- Senior Citizen can travel to Shri Ram Mandir at Ayodhya Dham, Varanasi, Nanded Sahib, Patna Sahib, Ajmer Sharif and other places free of cost.
Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled
- Only those beneficiaries are eligible to visit famous piligrimage places free of cost who fulfill the following eligibility criteria of Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana of Government of Haryana :-
- Only Permanent Resident of Haryana are Eligible.
- Beneficiary Age should be 60 years or more.
- Beneficiary Applicant should have Parivar Pehchan Patra.
- Beneficiary should be belong to BPL Family.
- Family Annual Income should be not more than Rs. 1,80,000/-.
- Free travel to pilgirmage places will only provided to once in a three year to per person.

- Parivar Pehchaan Patra.
- Beneficiary Aadhaar Card.
- Mobile Number.
- Family Income Certificate.
- Medically Fit Certificate.

- Interest Senior Citizens who wants to visit sacred religious places free of cost can apply for Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana of Haryana Government through Online Application Form.
- Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana Online Application Form is available on Antyodaya Saral Portal of Haryana Government.
- Visit the Website and Click on Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana visible on right side.
- Beneficiary will have to Register First on portal by providing Full Name, Email ID, Mobile Number and choose password.
- Mobile Number and Email ID will be verified through OTP authentication.
- Login again on the portal with Login ID and Password.
- Click on Apply for Services and Choose Mukhyamantri Teerth Yatra Yojana from the list of services.
- Fill Online Application Form of Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana of Haryana Government.
- Upload all the required documents on the portal.
- Preview the application form and submit it.
- Concerned officials will verify the received application forms and documents.
- Schedule will be fixed for travel and an intimation will be sent through SMS on the registered mobile number of beneficiary.
- Beneficiary can visit on the given date on time to selected pilgirmage site free of cost under Mukhyamantri Tirth Yatra Yojana of Haryana.
