Introduction of Akshay Anna Yojana: A Brief Insight
- Legislative Assembly Election of the year 2024 just concluded in Maharashtra.
- Mahayuti Alliance of BJP, Shiv Sena (Shinde Group) and NCP (Ajit Pawar Group) secure their government and re-elected by winning the majority in election.
- Every other political party also worked hard to win the election by announcing freebies scheme for public.
- Mahayuti Alliance partner Bharatiye Janta Party also announced lots of welfare scheme to woo the voters of Maharashtra.
- One of the major game changing scheme announced by BJP is Akshay Anna Yojana.
- Akshay Anna Yojana was announced as a pre poll promise by focusing on poor people.
- Lots of low income group families still cannot afford quality food.
- So to support these families Mahayuti Alliance Government will now provide free of cost ration to low income group families under Akshay Anna Yojana.
- This scheme will also known by Akshay Anna Scheme.
- All low income group families having valid ration card are eligible to get free of cost ration monthly under Maharashtra Government’s Akshay Anna Yojana.
- In Akshay Anna Yojana, Monthly Free of Cost Ration includes the following food items :-

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries
- Government of Maharashtra will provide the following benefits to all eligible beneficiaries under its Akshay Anna Yojana :-
- Free of Cost Ration per Month will be provided.
- All Low Income Group Families will receive ration monthly.
- Families will recieve below mentioned items free of cost under Akshay Anna Yojana :-
- Mustard Seeds.
- Red Chilli Powder.
- Cumin.
- Turmeric.
- Salt.
- Sugar.
- Jowar.
- Ground Oil.
- Rice.
Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled
- Monthly Free of Cost Ration under Akshay Anna Yojana of Maharashtra Government will be provided to only those beneficiaries who fulfill the following eligibility conditions of scheme :-
- Beneficiary should be Resident of Maharashtra State.
- Beneficiary should be belong to low income group family.
- Beneficiary should have Valid Ration Card.
- Remaining Eligibilty Conditions will be released after launch of scheme.
Documents Required to be Attached
- After the launch of Akshay Anna Yojana in Maharashtra, the following documents will be required to be attached with the application form :-
- Copy of Ration Card.
- Copy of Aadhar Card.
- Passport Size Photograph.
- Copy of Income Proof.
How Beneficiary Can Apply for this Scheme
- Bharatiye Janta Party has won the legislative assembly election of Maharashtra for the year 2024.
