Introduction of Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana: A Brief Insight

• Rajasthan Government budget was presented by its Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Smt. Diya Kumari on 19-02-2025.
• She announced lots of welfare schemes for every section of society such as Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana and many more.
• One of the major scheme announcements that are going to be launched in Rajasthan in the upcoming days is for Pregnant Women.
• The name of the scheme is “Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana”.
• The main aim behind announcing this scheme is to help and support pregnant women of the state by providing them with additional nutrition in their last 5 months of pregnancy.
• A Nutrition Kit will be provided to all eligible pregnant women under the Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana.
• Each Nutrition Kit contains nutritious items for pregnant women that help them to overcome any deficiency during the last 5 months of the pregnancy period.
• It is estimated that around 2 Lakh 35 Thousand (2,35,000) women will benefit under the Rajasthan Government’s Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana.
• For the year 2025-2026, the Government of Rajasthan allocated a budget of 25 Crore for the smooth implementation of this scheme.
• After its launch, this scheme will be known by some other popular and substitute names also which are “Chief Minister Suposhan Nutri-Kit Scheme Rajasthan” or “Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutrition Kit Yojana Rajasthan” or “Chief Minister Nutri-Kit Yojana Rajasthan”.
• Rajasthan Government’s concerned department will very soon draft this scheme’s official guidelines and present in front of the cabinet for approval.
• After approval from the cabinet, Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana will be launched in the whole of Rajasthan.
• With the help of Anganwadi Centre, ASHA, and ANM Worker, the registration of pregnant women under this scheme will be done.
• At present this scheme is just a budget announcement and will implement in the upcoming days.
• Pregnant Women Beneficiaries will have to wait little bit more in order to get a Nutrition Kit under the Government of Rajasthan’s Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• Rajasthan Government will provide the following benefits to all eligible Pregnant Women Beneficiaries under its newly announced Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana :-
  • Nutri-Kit will be provided to Pregnant Women.
  • This Kit will be provided to Pregnant Women for Additional Nutrition in the last 5 months.
  • Nutri-Kit contains nutritious items for Pregnant Women Beneficiaries.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Nutri-Kit under the Government of Rajasthan’s Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana will only provided to those women beneficiaries who fufill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria of scheme :-
  • Pregnant Women are Eligible to get Nutri-Kit.
  • Beneficiary Women should be a Permanent Residents of Rajasthan.
  • Remaining Eligibility Criteria of this scheme will be released after its official launch.

• The expected documents that are required to be attached with Rajasthan Government’s Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana are mentioned below :-
  • Any Residence Proof or Domicile Certificate of Rajasthan.
  • MAMTA Card.
  • ANC Check Up Documents.
  • Beneficiary Women Aadhaar Card.
  • Jan Aadhaar Card of Women Beneficiary.
  • Color Passport Size Photo.

How Beneficiaries Can Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Diya Kumari presents the budget for the year 2025-2026 on 19-02-2025.
• During her speech, she announced to launch of Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana for the welfare of pregnant women of Rajasthan.
• Concerned Department of Rajasthan Government will very soon draft the guidelines of Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana in which the application process and other eligibility conditions will be mentioned.
• This scheme will launch in whole of Rajasthan after the cabinet gives its final approval.
• This scheme will be implemented with the help of Anganwadi Centres.
• ASHA and ANM Workers will register every eligible pregnant women of their area underthe  Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana.
• Application of Form of Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana will be released with its official guidelines.
• For proper implementation and to track progress of scheme, Rajasthan Government can also launch the Official Website of Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri Kit Yojana.
• Beneficiary Pregnant Women will have to wait little bit more in order to avail the benefit of Nutri-Kit under this scheme.
