Introduction of Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojana: A Brief Insight

• Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Bhajanlal Sharma launched Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojana (राजस्थान मुख्यमंत्री युवा स्वरोजगार योजना) on the occasion of National Youth Day.
• The main objective behind starting this scheme is to support youth in entrepreneurship and ensure their access to capital.
• Rajasthan Government through its Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojana will provide the interest free loan for entrepreneurship to all eligible youths.
• Loans provided under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojana will be complete interest free, and the amount of interest incurred on the loan will be paid by the Rajasthan Government.
• The Permanent Resident Youth of Rajasthan in the age group of 18 year to 45 years are eligible to apply for interest-free loans for their entrepreneurship project under this scheme.
• Rajasthan Government will prepare 1 lakh young micro entrepreneurs every year with the help of the Chief Minister Yuva Swarojgar Scheme.
• With the help of this scheme, the youth of Rajasthan can start their entrepreneurship project in MSME, Manufacturing, Service, Tourism, Renewable Energy, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and New Technology-based areas.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• The benefits which are provided by the Rajasthan Government to youths of the State under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojana is :-
  • Interest Free Loans will be provided to selected youths.
  • 100% Subsidy on Interest will be provided on the Project Loan.
  • Every Year 1 Lakh Young Micro Entrepreneurs will receive the benefit of this scheme.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Interest Free Loans under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojana will be provided by the Rajasthan Government to those beneficiaries who fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility criteria of the scheme :-
  • A permanent resident of Rajasthan is Eligible to apply.
  • The Age of Applicant Youth should be between 18 years to 45 years.
  • The remaining eligibility criteria will be released soon.

• Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojana was recently announced by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Bhajanlal Sharma.
• He further added that the Rajasthan Government targets to provide the benefit of this to around 1 lakh youths every year.
• Currently, the application process of Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojana is not clear from the government side.
• The responsible department of the government will soon draft the guidelines of this scheme and released in the public domain.
• It totally depends on the department to accept the application form under Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojana through the Online Application Form or through the Offline Application Form.
• If the mode of the application is offline, then the beneficiary can visit their nearest E-Mitra Centre to fill the form.
• And if the mode of application is online, then the government might launch a separate portal of Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarojgar Yojana or the online applications might also be filled on the Rajasthan SSO Portal.
• Beneficiary Youths will have to waita little bit more in order to avail the benefit of this scheme.
