Introduction of Naan Mudhalvan UPSC Mains Scholarship Programme
- Tamil Nadu Government’s Naan Mudhalvan initiative encouraging youths to nourish and develop their skills.
- Various programme and schemes running under Naan Mudhalvan provide lots of benefits to needy and talented youth of Tamil Nadu.
- On of the major programme which was announced in the year 2023 is “UPSC Mains Scholarship Programme”.
- The main objective of this programme is to support those youth financially who cleared the Pre Examination of UPSC CSE so that they can prepare themselves for mains examination better.
- Tamil Nadu Skill Corporation is the implementing agency of this programme.
- A lump sump amount under this UPSC Mains Scholarship Programme of Tamil Nadu Government will be provided to all candidates who cleared the Pre Examination of UPSC CSE 2024.
- Financial Assistance of Rs. 25,000/- will be provided to all selected students under Naan Mudhalvan UPSC CSE Mains Scholarship Programme.
- Assistance will only be provided to those candidates who cleared UPSC CSE Pre Examination 2024.
- Only Permanent Residents of Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
- Detailed Application Form (DAF) and Aadhar Card is mandatorily needed at the time of applying.
- Application of Naan Mudhalvan UPSC Mains Scholarship Programme is open to apply from 19-07-2024.
- 28-07-2024 is the last date to apply for scholarship under this programme.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries
- Government of Tamil Nadu will provide the below mentioned benefits to all CSE Pre Examination 2024 Qualified Candidates under its Naan Mudhalvan UPSC Mains Scholarship Programme :-
- One Time Scholarship will be provided for Mains Examination.
- Rs. 25,000/- will be provided to each candidate who qualify CSE Pre 2024.
Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled
- Scholarship of Rs. 25,000/- will only be provided to those candidates who fulfill the following eligibility conditions of Naan Mudhalvan UPSC Mains Scholarship Programme :-
- Candidate should be the Permanent Resident of Tamil Nadu.
- Candidate should have Qualified Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2024.

- Concerned Authority will scrutinised the received application form and make a list of selected students.
- Selected Students will be called for physical verification.
- After physical verification of documents, selected students will then directly recieve the amount of scholarship of Rs. 25,000/- in their given bank account.
