Introduction of Rajasthan Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana: A Brief Insight
- On 19th of February 2025, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister of Rajasthan, Smt. Diya Kumari presented the annual budget of Rajasthan for the year 2025-2026, in which she announced the Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana.
- Rajasthan Government’s cabinet under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma on 23-08-2025, approved to launch this scheme in the whole of the State.
- The main objective of this scheme is to encourage entrepreneurship among the youth of the State.
- The government will provide financial support to eligible young entrepreneurs in the form of business loans.
- Beneficiary Youth will get business loans up to Rs. 2 crore under Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana to set up a new business/ startup or to expand the existing one.
- Apart from the benefit of a business loan, the government will also provide the benefit of 8% interest subsidy on the disbursed loan under this scheme.
- If the beneficiary is a woman or belongs to SC, ST, Disabled, Bunkar, Shilpkar Category or the startup is set up in a Rural Area, then the benefit of an additional 1% interest subsidy is applicable under Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana.
- Additional Interest Subsidy of 1% under this scheme will only be applicable if the amount of disbursed loan is between Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 2 crore.
- Beneficiary Youth will also receive the support of margin money under Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana, in which the government will provide 25% of the project cost or a maximum of Rs. 5 lakh as margin money.
- This scheme primarily targets the youth of aged between 18 years to 45 years who are interested in setting up a new business or expanding their existing one.
- Rajasthan Government will soon release the Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana detailed guidelines, including the application process, required eligibility and mode of submission.
- Till then, beneficiary youths will have to wait.
- Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana initiative is expected to boost entrepreneurship, generate employment opportunities and promote self-reliance among the young generation of Rajasthan State.
- Women Applicants can also explore “Mukhyamantri Work from Home Job Work Yojana” in which work-from-home opportunities will be provided.
Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries
- Rajasthan Government, under its Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana, will provide the following benefits to all eligible youths of the State :-
- Business Loans up to Rs. 2 Crore will be provided to Youths.
- 8% Subsidy on Interest will also be provided by the Rajasthan Government.
- A benefit of 25% Margin Money or a Maximum of Rs. 5 Lakh will also be provided.
- An Additional Benefit of 1% Interest Subvention will be provided to the following category beneficiaries if they take a business loan of Rs. 1 Crore to Rs. 2 crore :-
- Women.
- Scheduled Caste.
- Scheduled Tribe.
- Disabled Applicants.
- Startups/Businesses set up in Rural areas.
- Bunkar Card Holder.
- Shilpkar.
Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled
- Business Loans up to Rs. 2 Crore with 8% interest subsidy and margin money will be provided to only those eligible beneficiary youth who fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria of Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana :-
- Permanent Resident Youths of Rajasthan are Eligible to Apply.
- The Age of the Youth should be between 18 years to 45 years.
- Remaining Eligibility Criteria will be released soon.

- Applicant will have to submit the following expected documents at the time of applying for a business loan under the Rajasthan Government’s Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana :-
- Proof of Residence of Rajasthan.

- Proof of Birth. (10th Marksheet or Birth Certificate)
- Jan Aadhaar Card or Bhamashah Card.
- Education Related Documents.
- Business Project Report.
- Bank Account Details.
- Certificate of Caste. (If Applicable)

- Color Photograph of Applicant.
How Beneficiaries Can Apply to Avail the Benefit of this Scheme
- Cabinet of the Rajashan Government gave its approval to launch the Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana on 23-08-2025.
- Now, the concerned department will draft the official guidelines of the Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana of the Government of Rajasthan and publish it.
- Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana Application Process will also be mentioned in the official guidelines.
- So at present, the method of application is not clear.
- It depends on the respective department to accept application forms through the Online Application Form or through the Offline Application Form.
- In case of the Online Application Form, a separate portal of Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana may also be made.
- Offline Application under the Rajasthan Government’s Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Scheme can be accepted through the District Industries Centre.
- Beneficiary Youths will have to wait a little bit more.
