Introduction of Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana: A Brief Insight

• On 19th of February 2025, Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Diya Kumari presented the annual budget of Rajasthan for the year 2025-2026.
• She announced lots of welfare scheme in her budget speech for the people of Rajasthan.
• One the main and major welfare scheme which focused on self employment and employment generation in Rajasthan is “Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana”.
• The main objective behind announcing this scheme is to support those beneficiary youth of Rajasthan who are interested in setting up their own business for self employment activity and to open up the employment opportunity for others also.
• Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana is basically the Scheme for First Time Entrepreneurs.
• Government of Rajasthan will provide loan for setting up business under this scheme.
• Business Loans up to Rs. 2 Crore will be provided to all eligible young entrepreneurs under Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana.
• Apart from that, the Government will also provide an Interest Subsidy of 8% on distributed loans.
• The other benefit which Rajasthan Government will provide under Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana isa  Margin Money of Rs. 5 Lakh.
• With this scheme, beneficiary young entrepreneurs can set up their businesses, support their families and make contribution in the economy of Rajasthan.
• But this scheme is not for all entrepreneurs, Only Women, Schedule Caste and Schedule Tribe Beneficiary Youth are eligible to avail the benefits of Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana.
• Government of Rajasthan will also allocate the budget of Rs. 150/- Crore for the smooth implementation of this scheme.
• After its implementation, this scheme is also known by some other names which are “Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Scheme Rajasthan” or “विश्वकर्मा युवा उद्यमी प्रोत्साहन योजना” or “Vishwakarma Young Entrepreneurs Incentive Scheme Rajasthan”.
• But this scheme is just an announcement right now.
• Rajasthan Government will very soon release its official guidelines and implement this scheme in whole of the State.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• Rajasthan Government will provide the following benefits to all eligible beneficiaries under Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana :-
  • Loans will be provided to First Time Entrepreneurs to set up Business.
  • Government will provided Business Loans up to Rs. 2 Crore.
  • Interest Subsidy of 8% on Loans will also provided by Government.
  • Margin Money of Rs. 5 Lakh will also provided.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Loan up to 2 Crore with the benefits of Interest Subsidy and Margin Money under Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana of Rajasthan Government will only provided to those beneficiary youths who fulfill the following eligibility criteria :-
  

  Only Permanent Residents of Rajasthan are Eligible to Apply. Beneficiary Youth should be a First Time Entrepreneur. Only below mentioned category youth are eligible to apply :- Women. Schedule Caste. Schedule Tribe. The remaining Eligibility Criteria will be released after its launch.

Documents Required to be Attached

• The expected documents which are required to be submitted at the time of applying for Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana are mentioned below :-
  • Project Report/ Business Proposal.
  • Residence Proof or Domicile of Rajasthan.
  • Beneficiary Aadhaar Card.
  • Schedule Caste/ Tribe Certificate. (For SC/ ST Beneficiary)
  • Certificate of Income.
  • Color Passport Size Photograph.
  • Bank Account Number and IFSC Code.

How Beneficiaries Can Apply to Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• Finance Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Smt. Diya Kumari announced Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana in her budget speech of 2025-2026.
• She further states that this scheme will going to be start soon for first time entrepreneurs in Rajasthan.
• Concerned Department will soon begin the process to draft the official guidelines.
• Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana Guidelines will then put in front of Cabinet for approval.
• This scheme will then launch in whole of Rajasthan after the cabinet gives its final approval.
• Application Process of Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana will be mentioned in the guidelines which will released after its launch.
• It totally depends on the implementing department to accept applications from eligible beneficiaries through Online Application Form or through an Offline Application Form.
• If the mode of application is offline then Offline Application Form might be available at the district office of the concerned department.
• And if the mode of accepting application is online then the implementing department might launch the Official Website of Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana.
• So, First Time Entrepreneurs of Rajasthan will have to wait little bit more in order to avail the benefit of loan and interest subsidy under Vishwakarma Yuva Udhyami Protsahan Yojana.
