Introduction of AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Free Coaching Program: A Brief Insight

• Aligarh Muslim University is widely recognized for delivering high-quality education across a range of disciplines.
• The university has a separate educational unit named Residential Coaching Academy (RCA), which offers free coaching programs for competitive exams such as for Civil Services, Judicial Services and SSC CGLE.
• Aligarh Muslim University’s Residential Coaching Academy (AMU) selects 100 students every year through a nationwide entrance test and provides specialized coaching for the SSC-CGLE to selected students.
• Students selected for AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Free Coaching Program receive quality coaching for both Prelims and Mains Exams for a period of 10 months and the coaching is completely free of cost.
• But, Students may be required to pay nominal charges related to other facilities such as registration fees, security deposit etc.
• Students who have completed their graduation are only eligible to appear for the entrance exam of AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Free Coaching Program.
• The coaching program of AMU RCA is specifically open to students from minority communities, SC, ST, and women students.
• Like other coaching programs, AMU RCA did not offer hostel facilities for the SSC CGLE Coaching Program.
• Additionally, monthly scholarship will also be provided to needy students under this coaching program.
• The application process for the 2026 SSC-CGLE preparation program is currently open, and eligible students can submit their applications until 15-08-2025.
• The entrance examination for this free coaching program will take place on 21-09-2025.
• The results are expected to be announced by 30-09-2025 (tentative date).

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• Selected Students will get the following benefits under the AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Coaching Program of Aligarh Muslim University:-
  • Completely free coaching for the SSC-CGLE Examination.
  • Coaching covers both Prelims and Mains Examination.
  • Structured 10-month coaching will be provided to selected students.
  • Financial Assistance as a Scholarship will also be provided to needy students.
  • Air-conditioned library, accessible to students for 17 hours daily from 08:00 AM to 01:00 AM.
  • Students will benefit from regular test series for both Prelims and Mains, along with personalized mentorship from experienced professionals.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Aligarh Muslim University sets the following eligibility criteria of the AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Free Coaching Program, and only those students are eligible to take part in the entrance test who fulfill it :-
  

  Only those Students are Eligible who have completed their Graduation. Applicant students must belong to the Minority Community, the Scheduled Caste, the Scheduled Tribe and Women. Student currently in their final year of graduation and residing within Aligarh District may also apply. (Approval from the competent authority required) Applicant Students must be eligible to appear for the SSC-CGLE for the year 2026. No Hostel facility will be provided.

• The following are the list of required documents which will be needed at the time of registration and at the time of taking admission for coaching under AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Free Coaching Program :-
  • Passport Size Photograph.
  • Signature.
  • Thumb Impression.
  • Email ID and Mobile Number.
  • Debit or Credit Card for Payment.
  • Details of Qualifying Examination.
  • Aadhaar Card Details
  • Education-related documents are needed at the time of admission.

How Beneficiaries Can Apply to Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• Students who wish to appear for the Staff Selection Commission’s Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC-CGLE) for the year 2026 can apply AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Free Coaching Program Online.
• Students can apply through the portal “https://oaps.amuonline.ac.in/login” by registering themselves and filling out the online registration for thereafter.
• Visit the portal and click on Sign Up.
• Enter the details like Name, Date of Birth, Aadhaar Number etc. in the sign-up form and click on register.
• Sign In with Email Address and Password.
  
• Fill the detailed AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Free Coaching Program Online Registration Form which will be displayed on the portal.
• Upload all the required documents on the application portal.
• Rs. 1,000/- must be paid by the applicant as entrance examination fees to complete the registration process.
• Take a printout of the registration form for records.
• Students can apply for AMU Residential Coaching Academy SSC-CGLE Program till 15-08-2025.
• The entrance exam is scheduled on 21st September 2025 from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM.

Selection Procedure

• Students’ Selection for the AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Free Coaching Program will be purely based on the marks they obtained in the entrance test examination.
• The entrance exam comprises 100 multiple-choice questions with a total duration of 2 hours from 03:00 PM to 05:00 PM.
• The examination will be conducted in three languages i.e. English, Hindi and Urdu.
• Students who successfully cleared the entrance test of AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Free Coaching Program will be offered to join the coaching program of 10 months.

AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Entrance Exam Syllabus

• AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Free Coaching Program Entrance Examination Syllabus consists of 100 MCQs based on SSC-CGLE (Tier-II) Notification 2024.

Applicable Fees/ Charges

• As, AMU RCA SSC-CGLE Coaching Program is completely free of cost but students will have to pay the below-mentioned mandatory charges :-
