Introduction of Chhattisgarh Mukhyamantri Griha Pravesh Samman Yojana: A Brief Insight

• Chhattisgarh Government started Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana in the state in the year 2024.
• Financial Assistance is being provided to eligible beneficiaries under this scheme for the construction of their own house.
• With an objective to encourage the beneficiaries of housing schemes to complete their house construction early, the Chhattisgarh Government launched a new scheme in the state.
• The name of the scheme is “Mukhyamantri Griha Pravesh Samman Yojana”. (मुख्यमंत्री गृह प्रवेश सम्मान योजना)
• Urban Administration and Development Department of the Government of Chhattisgarh is the implementing department of this scheme.
• Financial Reward will be provided by the Chhattisgarh Government to those beneficiaries who complete their house construction within 18 months.
• Rs. 32,850/- is the amount of financial reward which will be awarded to beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Griha Pravesh Samman Yojana.
• The beneficiaries of PM Awas Yojana or Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana or any other housing scheme who have completed their house construction within 18 months are only eligible to receive the award under the CM Griha Pravesh Samman Scheme of the Government of Chhattisgarh.
• This is also a DBT scheme in which the amount of financial assistance will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary.
• Chhattisgarh Government allocated Rs. 100 Crore for the year 2025-2026 for the smooth implementation of Chief Minister Griha Pravesh Samman Yojana.
• Application Form of Mukhyamantri Griha Parvesh Samman Yojana is available in the District Office of Urban Administration and Development Department and Gram Panchayat Office.

• Additionally, the female members of the family can apply for “Mahatari Vandan Yojana” in which Rs. 1,000/- per month assistance will be provided to all eligible women applicants.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• Chhattisgarh Government under its Mukhyamantri Griha Pravesh Samman Yojana will provide the following benefits to all eligible applicants who have completed the construction of a house within 18 months :-
  • Monetary Reward will be provided to all eligible beneficiaries.
  • Each Beneficiary will receive an additional reward amount of Rs. 32,850/-.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Financial Assistance as a reward of Rs. 32,850/- will be provided to only those beneficiaries who meet the following eligibility requirements of Mukhyamantri Griha Pravesh Samman Yojana of the Government of Chhattisgarh :-
  • Permanent Residents of Chhattisgarh are Eligible to Apply.
  • Applicant should be a beneficiary of either the PM Awas Yojana of the Central Government or the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana of the Chhattisgarh Government.
  • The beneficiary applicant should have completed their house within 18 months.

• The documents that are required at the time of applying for the amount of reward under Chhattisgarh Government’s Mukhyamantri Griha Pravesh Samman Yojana are mentioned below :-
  • Residence Proof of Chhattisgarh.
  • Mobile Number of the Applicant.
  • Bank Account Number with IFSC Code.
  • Registration Number of PM Awas Yojana or Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana.
  • House Completion Certificate.
  • Aadhaar Card.

How Beneficiaries Can Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• Beneficiary Applicant who has completed their construction of a house within 18 months under the PM Awas Yojana or the Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana can apply for additional reward under Mukhyamantri Griha Pravesh Samman Yojana through the Application Form.
• The Application Form of Mukhyamantri Griha Pravesh Samman Yojana is available free of cost at any of the following government offices :-
  • Gram Panchayat Office.
  • Urban Administration and Development Department District Office.
• Beneficiary Applicant will have to collect the Mukhyamantri Griha Pravesh Samman Yojana Application Form from the above mentioned offices.
• Fill in the asked details carefully in the application form and attach all the required documents with the application form.
• Chhattisgarh Government’s Griha Pravesh Samman Yojana Application Form, along with the attached documents will be submitted in the same government office from where it was collected.
• The concerned officials will verify the received application form and documents and make a list of eligible beneficiaries.
• Department Officials will also verify the construction of the house by doing ground verification.
• After completing all the required formalities, the financial assistance as a reward of Rs. 32,850/- for completing the construction of the house within 18 months will be transferred directly in the bank account of the beneficiary.
• Applicants can contact the Gram Panchayat Office in case any help or assistance is required regarding the Mukhyamantri Griha Pravesh Samman Yojana of the Chhattisgarh Government.
