Introduction of Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme

• Every student has a dream to complete their higher education from foreign country.
• But due to high course fees and other expenses, students have to give up on their dream.
• So to fulfill the dream of every student to study in foreign university, Government of Andhra Pradesh will decided to support them financially.
• Andhra Pradesh Government started Andhra Pradesh Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme to fulfill the dream of students to complete their education from foreign university.
• It was started in the year 2019.
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide financial assistance to those student who manage to secure admission in foreign universities.
• This financial assistance will help them to complete their higher education without thinking about the expenses incurred.
• Department of Social Welfare of Andhra Pradesh Government is the responsible department of Andhra Pradesh Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme.
• This Scheme is also known as Andhra Pradesh Andhra Pradesh Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme or Andhra Pradesh Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme.
• Government of Andhra Pradesh will borne all the expenses incurred on the study of eligible students under Andhra Pradesh Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme,
• 100% of Tuition Fees will be paid by Andhra Pradesh Government to those students who secure their admission in Top 100 University in the World.
• Rs. 50,00,000/- (Fifty Lakh Rupees) or 50% of Tuition Fees will be paid by the Andhra Pradesh Government to those students who manages to secure admission in Top 101 to 200 University in the World.
• QS Rank List is taken into account to mark the Top 200 University Ranking of the World Universities.
• Government of Andhra Pradesh also released the List of Top 200 Universities in the World which are eligible under Andhra Pradesh Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme.
• Students belongs to any of the following category are eligible to apply under Andhra Pradesh Andhra Pradesh Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme :-
  • Schedule Caste.
  • Schedule Tribe.
  • Kapu Category.
  • Minority.
  • Physically Challenged.
  • Backward Class.
  • Economically Backward Class.
• Financial Assistance will be paid only to those student who can pursue their education in below mentioned courses :-
  • Post Graduation Course.
  • Ph.D.
  • MBBS.
• Course/ Tuition Fees will be paid by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to eligible students in 4 Installments.
• Eligible Students can apply for Andhra Pradesh Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme through Andhra Pradesh JnanBhumi Portal by filling Online Application Form.

Benefits Provided to Students

• The below mentioned benefits will be provided to eligible students under Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme :-
  

  100% Tuition/ Course Fees of the Student will be paid by Government of Andhra Pradesh if Student secures the admission in Top 100 Universities in the world. Rs. 50,00,000/- (Fifty Lakh Rupees Only) or 50% of the Tuition/ Course Fees of the Student will be paid by Government of Andhra Pradesh if Student secure the admission in Top 101 to 200 University in the world.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• The following Eligibility Criteria is set by the Government of Andhra Pradesh to avail the benefit of Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme are as follows :-
  

  Permanent Resident Students of Andhra Pradesh. Student Age should be not more than 35 Years. Student’s Annual Family Income should be below Rs. 8,00,000/-. The following category students are only eligible to apply :- Schedule Caste. Schedule Tribe. Backward Class. Economically Backward Class. Minority. Kapu Category. Physically Challenged. The following minimum marks percentage will be mandatorily required to apply :- 60 Percent Marks in Graduation to take Admission in Post Graduation Course. 60 Percent Marks in Post Graduation to take Admission in Ph.D. Course. 60 Percent Marks in 12th to take Admission in MBBS Course. Student has to qualify any one of the following exams :- IELTS. GRE. GMAT. TOEFL.

Courses Eligible for Scholarship

• If any student of Andhra Pradesh is successful to secure the admission in any of the below mentioned courses in world’s top 200 universities then he/she is eligible to avail the benefit under Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme :-
  

  Post Graduation Course. Ph.D. MBBS.

Documents Required at the Time of Apply

• The following documents will be mandatorily required to avail the benefit of reimbursement of course fees under Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme :-
  

  Domicile of Andhra Pradesh. Student’s Aadhar Card. Family Income Certificate. Ration Card of Family. Birth Certificate of Student. Class 10th Marksheet. Class 10th Certificate. Certificate of Last Qualifying Exam. Foreign University Offer Letter. Score Card of NEET. (Only for MBBS Students). Scorecard of any of the following exams :- IELTS. TOEFL. GRE. GMAT. Scanned Photo and Signature of Student. Details of Bank Account with IFSC Code. No Assistance from Other Source Self Declaration.

How Students Can Apply for Scholarship

• The only way to apply for Andhra Pradesh Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme is through Online Application Form.
• The Online Application Form of Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme is available on the Andhra Pradesh JnanaBhumi Portal.
• Student has to choose Login from the Citizen Services tab.
• Aadhar Card is required to Login and to apply for Andhra Pradesh Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme.
• Portal will verify the Aadhar Card through OTP after student enter it.
• After Aadhar Verification the Online Application Form of Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme will be appear on the screen.
• Student has to fill the below mentioned details in phase wise :-
  • Personal Details of Student.
  • Contact Details of Student.
  • Educational Qualification Details of Student.
  • Foreign University Detail in which Admission is going to take place.
  • Upload the required documents.
• Click on Submit Button to submit the application form.
• The application form and all the documents will forwarded to any of the following officers for verification :-
  • Welfare and Education Assistant.
  • Ward Welfare and Development Secretary.
• Recommendation will be uploaded by the officials after field verification.
• Then a State Level Selection Committee will take the interview of selected students.
• Final Selected Students will received the financial assistance under Andhra Pradesh Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme through Installments mentioned in official guidelines.

Key Features of Scheme

• Per Student per Family are eligible to avail the benefit of financial assistance under Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme.
• It is mandatory to appear in front of State Level Selection Committee, failing to do so will result the cancellation of selection of student.
• The financial assistance under Jagananna Videshi Vidya Deevena Scheme will be provided to selected students through below mentioned instalments :-
  • First Installment will be paid to student when he/ she submits his/ her Landing Permit or Immigration Card.
  • Second Installment will be paid to student when he/ she submits his/ her First Semester or End Term Result.
  • Third Installment will be paid to student when he/ she submits his/ her Second Semester or End Term Result.
  • Fourth Installment will be paid to student when he/ she successfully complete their Fourth Semester.
• It is mandatorily required every student to qualify the following exams to avail the benefit :-
  • GRE.
  • GMAT.
  • IELTS.
  • TOEFL.
