Delhi Government started Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme for the students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Class in the year 2021. Introduction of Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme: A Brief Insight

• Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme is the major educational reform scheme of Delhi Government.
• It was started on 7th of September 2021.
• This scheme is the another major step taken by Arvind Kejriwal Government to boost the education sector of Delhi.
• Delhi’s Department Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe, Other Backward Class, and Minorities is responsible for the operation of Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme.
• The main objective behind launching Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha scholarship Scheme is to provide financial assistance to students so that they can complete their education without thinking about financial burden.
• The other alternative name of this scheme are “Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Yojana” or “Chief Minister Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme”.
• Under the Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme, Delhi Government will provide financial assistance of Rs. 5,000/- per year to Class 9th and Class 10th Students.
• Similarly Rs. 10,000/- per year will be provided to Class 11th and Class 12th students under the Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme.
• There is no income limit criterion for the students wo scored more than 75% marks in their previous year examination.
• Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme is previously known as the Delhi Free Stationary Supply Scheme.
• Students belonging to the following categories is only eligible to apply under Delhi Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme :-
  • Schedule Caste.
  • Schedule Tribe.
  • Other Backward Class.
  • Minorities.
  • Economically Backward Class.
• Eligible Students can apply for the Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme through Delhi E District Portal.
• In case of any help or assistance needed about this scheme, beneficiary students can contact their nearest District Social Welfare Officer Office.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• The following Financial Assistance will be provided by Delhi Government to students under Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme :-
  

  Rs. 5,000/- per year to Class 9th and Class 10th Students. Rs. 10,000/- per year to Class 11th and Class 12th Students.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Scholarship will only be provided to those students who fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria of Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme :-
  

  Students of Delhi are Eligible to Apply. Students marks in previous classes should be :- 50 Percent in previous class for Class 9th and Class 10th Financial Assistance. 60 Percent in previous class for Class 11th and Class 12th Financial Assistance. Students studying in any of the schools :- Delhi Government Aided School. School of Central Government. Delhi Government Recognized School. Delhi Local Bodies Government School. Students belonging to the following category :- Schedule Tribe. Schedule Caste. Other Backward Class. Minority. Economically Weaker Section.

Documents Required to be Attached

• The following documents are required at the time of applying for a scholarship under Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme :-
  

  Passport Size Photo. Scanned Signature. Caste Certificate. Domicile of Delhi. Income Certificate. Bank Account Details. Aadhar Card. School Identity Card. Mobile Number. Mark Sheet of Previous Year. Residence Proof should be any of the following document :- Driving License. Voter ID. Ration Card. Landline Bill of MTNL.

How Beneficiaries Can Apply to Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• First Student has to visit the Online Portal of Delhi E District to apply for Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme.
• Eligible Students has to Register himself/herself.
• After Registration Login in the same portal.
• Choose Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme from the Services Tab.
• Fill the personal details like :- Name, Address, and Academic Details.
• Upload the required documents like residence proof, Aadhar card etc.
• And then click on submit.
• After submission, take a printout of the Application Form of Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme.
• Attach the required documents with the application form and submit it to the school for verification.
• Application Form and Documents will be scrutinized by school authorities and then sent it to the department for further process.
• If the Application Form and the attached documents are found to be correct in verification, then the financial assistance under the Mukhyamantri Vidyarthi Pratibha Scholarship Scheme will be transferred in the bank account of students.
