Maharashtra Government will now going to provide free of cost 3 LPG gas cylinders every year under its newly announced Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana. This scheme will support the low income group families who are still not capable of purchasing gas cylinders every month. Introduction of Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana

• Clean and Green fuel for cooking is the need of time now a days.
• For better environment surrounding and for the health of women, it is important to switch to clean fuel i.e LPG completely.
• But due to hike in prices of LPG, most of the households still not capable to afford LPG Gas Connection and the cost of monthly gas cylinder.
• Now Maharashtra Government came to rescue these households by giving them a gift of new welfare scheme.
• A new scheme called “Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana” will going to be launched in Maharashtra very soon.
• The main aim behind launching this scheme is to giving an opportunity to low income families to afford LPG cylinder and make them contribute to switch for clean energy for cooking.
• This scheme has some prominent names which can be used by people in their day to day conversation which are “Maharashtra Chief Minister Annapurna Scheme” or “Maharashtra Mukhyamantri Annapurna Scheme” or “Maharashtra Chief Minister Annapurna Yojana”.
• Under Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana of Maharashtra Government, Yearly Gas Cylinders without any cost will be given to all eligible people.
• Beneficiary will receive 3 LPG Gas Cylinders every year free of cost under Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana.
• 3 Free Gas Cylinders under Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana will only given to those families who has 5 family members.

Benefits of Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana

Eligibility Conditions of Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana

• As per Government Guidelines, 3 Gas Cylinders per year without any cost will only given to those people who comes under the ambit of following eligibility conditions :-
  • Only Permanent Residents of Maharashtra are eligible to apply.
  • Gas Connection is mandatorily needed.
  • Family of a 5 Member are eligible to get free gas cylinders.

  • Aadhar Card of Beneficiary.

Apply Procedure of Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana

• Maharashtra Government Finance Minister and Deputy Chief Minister announced Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana on 28^th of June 2024.
• Cabinet of Government of Maharashtra will very soon gave their approval to implement this scheme in State.
• After approval, concerned department will draft the Guidelines of Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana.
• Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana Application Process will be given in those guidelines.
• If the application under this scheme will accepted though Online Application Form, then Website of Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana will be launch.
• And if the application will accepted through Offline Application Form then Offline Application of Mukhyamantri Annapurna Yojana will be available in the district office of concerned department.
• To get the benefit of free of cost 3 gas cylinder per year, beneficiaries will have to wait.
