Maharashtra Government is all set to roll out one of the biggest financial assistance scheme of the country. Mukhyamantri Manjhi Ladki Bahin Yojana will going to be the game changer scheme for the politics of Maharashtra which is in turmoil for some time now. This scheme will definitely make women of Maharashtra financially independent and self reliant so that they can not rely on anyone financially.

Introduction of Scheme

• Maharashtra Government presents its supplementary budget for the financial year 2024-2025 on 28th of June 2024.
• While presenting the budget, Finance Minister and Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shri Ajit Pawar ji announced lots of welfare scheme for people.
• One the prominent scheme announced for women is “Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana”.
• On 17th of August 2024, this scheme is officially launched in whole of Maharashtra.
• The main aim of Maharashtra Government behind announcing this scheme is to make women self independent financially and support them to make them self reliant.
• Responsible Department of this scheme is Women and Child Development Department.
• This scheme has many other major names which is used majorly like “Chief Minister Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme” or “Chief Minister My Beloved Sister Scheme” or “Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme” or “Mukhyamantri Mazhi Ladki Bahin Yojana”.
• Maharashtra Government will provide a total of Rs. 18,000/- in a year as a monthly financial assistance to all women beneficiary.
• All women beneficiary will get a financial assistance of Rs. 1,500/- per month under Maharashtra Government’s Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.
• There is a age limit in which only women whose age is between 21 years to 65 years of age are eligible to get the financial assistance.
• Also, if annual family income of women is more than Rs. 2.50 lakh then she is not eligible to apply for financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme.
• A whopping budget of Rs. 46,000/- crore is allocated for the implementation of Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.
• Around 2.5 crore women is expected to take the benefit of per month financial assistance as promised by Maharashtra Government under Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.
• Government of Maharashtra also sets the Ineligibility Conditions of Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Scheme which can be seen here.
• Beneficiary women can apply for Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana from 1st of July 2024.
• The last date of Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is 31st of August 2024.
• Whereas on 17-08-2024, Eligible and Selected Women Beneficiary received Rs. 3,000/- (July and August Amount) in their bank account on the official launch occasion of Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.

• Both Online and Offline Mode of Application is available to apply.
• Offline Application Form is available in the office of Anganwadi Centre or Zila Parishad or Gram Panchayat.
• Whereas for Online Application Form is available on the Official Website of Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.
• Narishakti Doot Mobile Application. is also the mode available to apply for per month financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana.
• Applications on Narishakti Doot Mobile Application can only filled in English Language.
• If filled in Marathi Language, then Application Form is subject to be rejected.

What are the Benefits Provided under Scheme?

• Maharashtra Government will provide the below mentioned benefits to all eligible women beneficiary under its Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana :-
  • Rs. 18,000/- per Year to all Women Beneficiary.
  • Financial Assistance to Beneficiary Women will be provided Monthly.
  • Rs. 1,500/- will be provided per month.

Reasons of Rejection of Application Form

• Following are the reasons of which the Application Form of Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana is rejected. If Women Beneficiary do any of the thing mentioned below while filling the application form of Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana then her application form will be rejected :-
  

  If filled the Application Form in Marathi Language in Narishakti Doot Mobile Application. If Self Declaration is not Uploaded properly. If Uploaded the Pre Captured Photo. If Entered and Saved Wrong Mobile Number. If Income Proof is not Clear.

Eligibility Conditions to Avail Benefit

• Only those Women Beneficiary are eligible to apply for monthly financial assistance of Rs. 1,500/- who fulfill the following eligibility criteria of Maharashtra Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana :-
  

  Beneficiary should be Women. Age of Women Beneficiary should be between 21 Years to 65 Years. Women should be belong to any of the following category :- Single Unmarried Women in Family. Married Women. Divorced Women. Destitute Women. Widowed Women. Abandoned Women. Women’s Annual Family Income should be below Rs. 2.50 Lakh. Bank Account should be in Women Beneficiary Name.

Ineligibility Conditions of Scheme

• If any women beneficiary lies within the ambit of any of the below mentioned ineligibility condtions then she is not eligible to apply for financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana :-
  • If Family has Four Wheeler at home.
  • If the Annual Family Income of Women’s Family is more than Rs.2.50 Lakhs.
  • If Women’s Family has more than 5 Acre of Land.
  • If there is a pensioner in Women’s Family.
  • If any of the Women family member is Government Employee.
  • If there is a Taxpayer in Women’s Family.
  • If any of the Women Family Member is sitting MP/ MLA/ Board Chairman etc.

• The following documents will be attached with application form or uploaded on the website at the time of applying for monthly financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin Yojana :-
  • Residence Proof of Maharashtra or Domicile of State.
  • Ration Card.
