Rajasthan MAA Voucher Yojana

Government of Rajasthan will issue MAA Vouchers to all pregnant women of the State during their 2nd or 3rd Trimester of Pregnancy under its MAA Voucher Yojana in which beneficiary pregnant women can avail the benefit of free of-cost sonography/ ultrasound facility at any Government or Empanelled Private Hospital.

Introduction of MAA Voucher Yojana Rajasthan: A Brief Insight

• Chief Minister of Rajasthan launched the MAA Voucher Yojana in the State on 24-09-2024.
• The full name of this scheme is “Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya (MAA) Voucher Yojana”.
• The main objective of the Government starting this scheme is to minimize the Infant and Mother Mortality Rate in the State.
• Department of Medical, Health & Family Welfare of the Rajasthan Government is the implementing department of this scheme.
• Rajasthan Government will now provide the facility to pregnant women of the state to get their first sonography/ ultrasound done without any cost.
• Government will issue E Vouchers under the MAA Voucher Yojana which can be used by pregnant women for free of cost ultrasound/ sonography.
• Sonography/ Ultrasound can be done in any Government Hospital or Empanelled Private Hospital by showing a QR code-based MAA Voucher.
• Pregnant Women can visit on 9th, 18th and 27th of every month to get their sonography done free of cost under the Rajasthan Government’s MAA Voucher Yojana.
• Government planned to provide this facility to around 3 lakh women per year.
• After issuing of MAA Voucher, it is valid for 30 days and the pregnant women beneficiary will have to use it for her sonography within 30 days.
• Only one MAA Voucher will be issued in the name of pregnant women during her pregnancy.
• Pregnant Women can visit the nearest health centre to make MAA Voucher in her name during her 2nd or 3rd Trimester of pregnancy.
• Medical Officer Incharge will generate the QR code-based MAA Voucher and give it to pregnant women.
• Also, this E-Voucher will also sent on the registered mobile number of pregnant women.
• Sonography/ Ultrasound amount will be paid by Rajasthan Government if pregnant women opt empanelled private hospital or medical center to avail the facility.
• This scheme has some other popular names also which are “Chief Minister Ayushman Arogya Voucher Scheme Rajasthan” or “Mukhyamantri Ayushman Arogya (MAA) Voucher Scheme” or “Rajasthan Free Sonography/ Ultrasound Scheme”.
• Visit the nearest health centre, make an MAA Voucher free of cost and avail the benefit of free ultrasound/ sonography under the Rajasthan Government’s MAA Voucher Yojana.
• If woman beneficiary delivers a girl child then she can register her in the “Lado Protsahan Yojana” of the Rajasthan Government in which a saving bond of Rs. 1,50,000/- will be issued in the name of the girl child.
• During pregnancy, pregnant women can also avail the benefit of the “Mukhyamantri Suposhan Nutri-Kit Yojana”.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• Each Pregnant Woman of Rajasthan who is currently in her 2nd or 3rd Trimester of Pregnancy will get the following benefits under the MAA Voucher Yojana :-
  • MAA E-Vouchers will be provided to Pregnant Women.
  • These E MAA Vouchers can be used for Free of Cost Sonography/ Ultrasound.
  • One QR Code-based MAA Voucher will be issued during Pregnancy.
  • MAA Voucher will be valid for 30 days from the date of issue.
  • Sonography/ Ultrasound Free of Cost through MAA Voucher are eligible both in Government and Empanelled Private Hospital.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• MAA Voucher for free of cost sonography/ ultrasound will only generated in favour of those women beneficiaries who fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria of the MAA Voucher Yojana of Rajasthan Government :-
  • Pregnant Women are Eligible to get an MAA Voucher.
  • Pregnant Women should be Permanent Residents of Rajasthan.
  • Pregnant Women should be in their 2nd or 3rd Trimester of Pregnancy.

Documents Required to be Attached

• In order to get a Voucher for a free of cost Sonography/ Ultrasound, beneficiary women will have to submit the below-mentioned documents :-
  • Jan Aadhaar Card.
  • Aadhaar Card.
  • MAMTA Card.
  • Mobile Number.

How Beneficiaries Can Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• The process of issuing MAA Vouchers for free of cost Sonography/ Ultrasound for pregnant women has been made very easy by the Government of Rajasthan.
• Pregnant Women will have to visit their nearest health centre for ANC checkups during her 2nd or 3rd Trimester.
• Medical Officer Incharge present at the health centre will get data from the PCTS Portal Rajasthan to generate an MAA Voucher for pregnant women.
• MAA Voucher will then be generated by the Medical Officer Incharge and handed over to pregnant women.
• Vouchers will also sent to Women on their Registered Mobile Number.
• Each MAA Voucher for free ultrasound has a QR Code printed on it.
• Only one voucher will be generated in favour of pregnant women during their pregnancy.
• The validity of the MAA Voucher is 30 days from the date of issue.
• Pregnant Beneficiary Women will have to then reach the Government or Private Sonography/ Ultrasound Centre and will have to show the Voucher.
• Officials present at the centre will scan the QR Code of the MAA Voucher through the IMPACT system.
• Sonography/ Ultrasound in Government Hospitals is free of cost, but if pregnant women visit a private medical hospital, the government of Rajasthan will pay the centre for the sonography.
• The amount of Sonography will be paid directly to the centre through the OJAS System.
• Sonography Centre will have to give a report to pregnant women and upload it on the PCTS Portal.
• In case of any help or assistance required regarding the MAA Voucher Yojana, pregnant women beneficiary can contact their ASHA Worker or Public Health Centre.
