Introduction of Rajasthan Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana: A Brief Insight

• The Central Government launched the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana in 2019 to increase the income of farmers, providing them with Rs. 6,000 per year as financial assistance.
• However, in reality, this financial assistance is insufficient to cover the unexpected and unforeseen expenses incurred in agricultural activities.
• To further support the state’s farmers, the Rajasthan Government launched the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana on June 30, 2024.
• The main objective of the Government of Rajasthan is to stabilize the yearly income of farmers by providing them additional assistance from their exchequer.
• This scheme is implemented by Agriculture Department of the Rajasthan Government.
• Till now, farmers have been receiving Rs. 6,000/- per year directly in their bank account under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme of the Central Government.
• Now, the Rajasthan Government will provide additional financial assistance of Rs. 3,000/- per year to all eligible farmers of the State.
• This means that farmers of the State of Rajasthan will now receive yearly financial assistance of Rs. 9,000/- per year directly in their bank account, out of which Rs. 6,000/- per year is a central government share under PM Kisan and Rs. 3,000/- per year is a Rajasthan Government share under CM Kisan.
• Earlier, the financial assistance under the CM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme of the Rajasthan Govt is Rs. 2,000/- per year.
• But from the year 2025-2026, the Government increased this amount to Rs. 3,000/- per year.
• To date, more than 72 lakh farmers have received more than 1,400/- crore directly in their bank accounts under the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana of the Rajasthan Government.
• Farmers will not have to register separately under this scheme. If a farmer is registered and receiving the benefits of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi, then they are automatically eligible to receive the additional benefit of Rs. 3,000/- per year under CM Kisan Samman Nidhi.
• Beneficiary Farmers can check the Status of their Payment of Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme with the help of their PM Kisan Registration Number on the Raj-Sahkar Portal.
• Contact your District Agriculture Office in case any help or assistance is required regarding the Rajasthan Government’s Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
• If a farmer has livestock/ animals, then he/ she can insure them under Mukhyamantri Mangla Pashu Bima Yojana and they can also apply for a collateral-free loan to improve infrastructure for them under the Gopal Credit Card Loan Scheme.
• Rajasthan Government has released Rs. 718 Crore in the bank account of 71.8 lakh beneficiary farmers on 18-10-2025 as the 4th Installment of Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
• Rs. 1,000/- had been transferred to the bank account of farmers as CM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana 4th Installment.
• The Payment Status of the 4th Installment of the Rajasthan Government’s Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana can be checked by visiting the Raj-Sahkar Yojana Portal and Jan Soochna Portal.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• Rajasthan Government under its Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will provide the following benefits to all eligible farmers of the State :-
  • Farmers of Rajasthan will receive Rs. 9,000/- per year.
  • Rs. 6,000/- per year will be provided under the PM Kisan Yojana of the Central Government.
  • And, an Additional Rs. 3,000/- per year will be provided under the CM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
  • Amount of Assistance will be provided in 3 Installments of Rs. 1,000/- each.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Additional Assistance of Rs. 3,000/- per year will be provided to only those beneficiaries who fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria of Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana of the Rajasthan Government :-
  • Permanent Resident Farmers of Rajasthan are Eligible.
  • The farmer should be a Beneficiary of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme.
  • Farmer’s e-KYC Status should be Active.

Documents Required to be Attached

• To avail the benefit of additional financial assistance of Rs. 3,000/- per year under Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana of the Rajasthan Government, the following documents will be required :-
  • Registration Number of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
  • Aadhaar Card of a Farmer.
  • Jan Aadhaar Card of Family.
  • Mobile Number.

How Beneficiaries Can Apply to Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• Beneficiary Farmers of Rajasthan don’t have to separately apply for the Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana of the Rajasthan Government.
• Farmers who are already beneficiaries of the Central Government’s PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are automatically eligible to get the additional benefits of Rs. 3,000/- per year under the Rajasthan Government’s Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
• The only things farmers will have to do is to complete their e-KYC of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
• They will get the amount of Rs. 3,000/- in installments from the Rajasthan Government in the same bank account in which they are already receiving the financial assistance of Rs. 6,000/- per year under PM Kisan Yojana.
• Rajasthan Government will release its share of the installment at the same time the Central Government releases its share under PM Kisan.
• If any farmer wants to register themselves under the Government of Rajasthan’s Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme, then they have to register themselves under PM Kisan Samman Nidhi first.

How to Check the Payment Status

• Farmers of Rajasthan can check their Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Payment Status Online.
• Raj-Sahkar Portal has a facility through which farmers can check their payment status.
• Open the Portal, Choose Your District, Enter Your PM Kisan Registration Number and Click on Search.
  
• All the payment information of Rajasthan’s Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme will come on screen.
• Beneficiary Farmers can also check the 4th Installment Payment Status of Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana through Jan Soochna Portal.
• Just visit the Jan Soochna Portal and choose Mukhyamantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana Status.
• Enter your Aadhaar Number and Click on Search.
  
• All the details about the Payment of CM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be shown on the screen.
