Introduction of Tamil Nadu Naan Mudhalvan UPSC Mains Scholarship Programme: A Brief Insight
- Tamil Nadu Government’s Naan Mudhalvan initiative encourages youths to nourish and develop their skills.
- Various programmes and schemes running under Naan Mudhalvan provide lots of benefits to needy and talented youth of Tamil Nadu.
- One of the major programmes that was announced in the year 2023 is “UPSC Mains Scholarship Programme”.
- The main objective of this programme is to support those youth financially who cleared the Pre-Examination of UPSC CSE so that they can prepare themselves for mains examination better.
- Tamil Nadu Skill Corporation is the implementing agency of this programme.
- A lump sump amount under this UPSC Mains Scholarship Programme of the Tamil Nadu Government will be provided to all candidates who cleared the Pre-Examination of UPSC CSE.

- Government of Tamil Nadu will provide the below-mentioned benefits to all CSE Pre Examination Qualified Candidates under its Naan Mudhalvan UPSC Mains Scholarship Programme:-
- A one-time scholarship will be provided for the Mains Examination.
- Rs. 25,000/- will be provided to each candidate who qualify CSE Pre Examination.
Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled
- Scholarship of Rs. 25,000/- will only be provided to those candidates who fulfil the following eligibility conditions of Naan Mudhalvan UPSC Mains Scholarship Programme :-
- The candidate should be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu.
- The candidate should have Qualified Civil Services Preliminary Examination.
