Introduction of Yuva Udaan Yojana: A Brief Insight

• Delhi Legislative Assembly Election will going to held on 5th of February 2025.
• Thereafter Election Commission of India will announced election result on 8th of February 2025.
• Bharatiye Janta Party, Congress and Aam Aadmi Party started their election campaign and trying very hard to secure their voters vote.
• Congress Party started announcing welfare scheme to woo the voters of Delhi.
• Congress announced schemes is directly compete with the announced schemes of Aam Aadmi Party.
• The first election promise of Congress Party for the people of Delhi is “Pyaari Didi Yojana” in which financial assistance of Rs. 2,500/- per month will be provided to women.
• The second election promise is “Jeevan Raksha Yojana” in which medical treatment in Government and Empanelled Hospitals up to Rs. 25,00,000/- will be provided to the people of Delhi.
• Now, Former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shri Ashok Pilot announced a third election guarantee for Delhi people which specifically focuses on employment of youth.
• The name of scheme is “Yuva Udaan Yojana”.
• After implementation, this scheme will also known by some other name as “Yuva Udaan Scheme”.
• The objective of this scheme will going to be eradicate the unemployment from Delhi by nourishing the skills of youths.
• If Congress Party wins the Delhi Election then one year apprenticeship training will be provided to all eligible youth under Yuva Udaan Yojana.
• Skill Development Training will be provided to selected youth in this 1 year apprenticeship program.
• Apart from 1 year skill training/ apprenticeship, monthly financial assistance of Rs. 8,500/- per month as a stipend will also provided under Yuva Udaan Yojana.
• One year apprenticeship training with monthly stipend of Rs. 8,500/- under Yuva Udaan Yojana will only provided to educated youth who are still unemployed.
• This monthly financial assistance will be provided for 1 year period during apprenticeship to bear the expenses incurred during program.
• In response to that AAP announced “Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana” for women in which monthly Rs. 2,100/- will be provided.
• Another election promise of Aam Aadmi Party is “Sanjeevani Yojana” in which free of cost treatment to old age people will be provided and “Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana” in which monthly Rs. 18,000/- per month will be provided to Pujari and Granthi of Delhi.
• Bharatiya Janta Party is in the queue yet and they still haven’t announce any welfare scheme which can counter the schemes of Congress Party and Aam Aadmi Party.
• It is to be hereby noted that Yuva Udaan Yojana is just a pre-election promise of Congress Party.
• This scheme will only implement in Delhi if in upcoming assembly election congress party will win and form the government.
• So beneficiary youth of Delhi will have to wait in order to get one year skill training with monthly assistance of Rs. 8,500/- per month under Yuva Udaan Yojana.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• If somehow Congress Party wins the upcoming assembly election of Delhi then after implementation the following benefits will be provided to selected youths under Yuva Udaan Yojana :-
  • One Year Apprenticeship Training will be Provided for Skill Development.
  • Financial Assistance as Stipend of Rs. 8,500/- per Month will also provided to Beneficiary Youth.
  • Stipend will be Provided for a Period of 1 Year.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• One year apprenticeship for skill development with an stipend of Rs. 8,500/- per month will be provided by Congress Party if comes to power in Delhi under Yuva Udaan Yojana to those youths who fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria :-
  • Only Permanent Residents of Delhi are Eligible to Apply.
  • Beneficiary Youth should be Educated and Unemployed at the time of Applying.
  • Age of Beneficiary Youth should be above 18 years.
  • Remaining Eligibility Conditions will be released after its launched.

Documents Required to be Attached

• In Congress wins the Delhi Election and implements Yuva Udaan Yojana then the below-mentioned expected documents will be required in order to avail the benefit of this scheme :-
  • Residence Proof or Domicile of Delhi.
  • Aadhar Card of Beneficiary Youth.
  • Voter Identity Card of Beneficiary.
  • Age Proof.
  • Educational Documents.
  • Bank Account Number with IFSC Code.
  • Mobile Number and Email.
  • Self Declaration or Certificate of Income.
  • 1 Passport Size Photograph.

How Beneficiaries Can Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• Yuva Udaan Yojana is the third election promise of Congress for the people of Delhi after “Pyaari Didi Yojana” and “Jeevan Raksha Yojana”.
• To fulfill these election promises, the congress party must have to win the upcoming legislative assembly election of Delhi.
• So, right now the Application Process of Yuva Udaan Yojana is not known yet.
• Due to only election announcement, Congress Party didn’t reveal their intention about what would be the application mode of this scheme.
• If application mode is offline then Application Form of Yuva Udaan Yojana will be available free of cost at District Employment Office.
• And if the application mode is online then Yuva Udaan Yojana Website will be launch to facilitate youth to apply through Online Application Form.
• So, beneficiary youth will have to wait till election in order to get one year internship apprenticeship under Yuva Udaan Yojana and avail the benefit of financial assistance of Rs. 8,500/- per month.
• Further Application Procedure will be known only after the implementation of this scheme if congress party wins and implement it in Delhi.
