Introduction of Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana: A Brief Insight

• Many students in Jharkhand are preparing for the entrance examination for different courses to secure their seats.
• But due to high competition, low preparation levels, and economically weaker backgrounds, most of them are not able to achieve to crack the entrance examination.
• To support the dreams of meritorious students, the Jharkhand Government launched “Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana” in the year 2022.
• The main objective of the Jharkhand Government behind launching this scheme is to support students and help them to prepare for the prominent entrance examinations of the country.
• Through the empanelled coaching institutes, the Jharkhand Government will now provide free coaching for entrance examinations to eligible students selected in merit.
• Free coaching under Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana of the Government of Jharkhand will be provided for the following entrance examinations :-
  • JEE
  • NEET
  • CLAT
  • NHMCET
  • NIFT-CET
• Students will take free coaching for national-level competitive examinations for admission in reputed institutions of India like IITs, IIMs, NLUs, JNU, DU etc.
• The period of coaching under the Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Scheme is a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 2 years.
• Selected students will also get financial assistance for living expenses of Rs. 2,500/- per month under this scheme throughout the period of coaching.
• Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana Online Registration is available on its Official Portal.
• Eligible Students can Apply Online and avail the benefits of free coaching for national-level entrance examinations and monthly living expenses of Rs. 2,500/-.
• A list of selected students under Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana will be published by the respective department on the official portal.
• If any student wants to take free coaching for competitive examinations, then they can apply under the Eklavya Prashikshan Yojana.
• Jharkhand Government’s other major welfare schemes that can be explored by the beneficiaries are “Maiyya Samman Yojana” and “Abua Awaas Yojana” and “Mukhyamantri Abua Swasthya Suraksha Yojana”.
• Girl Students of Jharkhand State can apply for the Manki Munda Scholarship Yojana if they pursue engineering courses for their higher education after completing their class 12^th.

• Free of cost coaching will be provided for the following entrance examinations under the Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana of the Jharkhand Government, with the available seats every year :-

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• Selected Students will get the following benefits under the Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana of the Government of Jharkhand :-
  • Free of Cost Coaching for Entrance Examinations will be provided.
  • Coaching Covered Medical, Engineering, and any other Entrance Examination.
  • The government will pay the Tuition Fees to Coaching Centres.
  • Monthly Financial assistance of Rs. 2,500/- per month as living expenses will also be provided to Students.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Free of cost coaching for entrance examination such as medical, engineering etc. under Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana of Jharkhand Government will be provided to only those eligible students who fulfill the below-mentioned eligibility criteria of the scheme :-
  

  Permanent Resident Students of Jharkhand are Eligible. Applicant Student should have passed Class 10th from any School within Jharkhand State. Student’s Annual Family Income should not be more than Rs. 8 lakh per year or the Family should be registered under the NFSA Act. Applicant should have completed the Eligibility Criteria of the Entrance Examination for which he/ she is preparing. Benefits of Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana will be provided only once. Duration of Coaching should be a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 2 years. Maintaining a minimum of 75% Attendance throughout the duration of coaching is mandatory. Students should not be a beneficiaries of similar schemes of other departments.

• The documents that are required to be uploaded at the time of applying for free-of-cost coaching for entrance examination under the Government of Jharkhand’s Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana :-
  • Jharkhand Residence Proof.
  • Family Income Certificate or Ration Card.
  • Aadhaar Card Number of the Student.
  • Mobile Number and Email.
  • Bank Account Number with IFSC Code.
  • Class 10^th Marksheet and Certificate.
  • Class 11^th Marksheet and Certificate. (For Class 12th based entrance exams)
  • Recent Color Passport Size Photograph.
  • Caste Certificate. (If Applicable)
  • Scanned Signature of Applicant Student.

How Beneficiaries Can Apply to Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• Beneficiary Students can apply online in order to get free coaching for entrance examinations such as medical, engineering, law, etc. under the Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana of the Jharkhand Government.
• A dedicated portal is available through which eligible students can register themselves for Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana Online.
• Visit the portal and click on Registration.
  
• The student will have to fill in the basic details like Name, Mobile Number, Email and password.
• Login with the help of your Mobile Number/ Email and chosen Password on the portal.
  
• Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana Online Application Form will appear on the screen, in whichthe  applicant student will have to fill the following details :-
  • Personal Details
  • Contact/ Communication Details
  • Educational Details
  • Entrance Examination Details
  • Bank Account Number and IFSC Code
• Applicant Student will have to upload all the required documents on the portal.
• Preview the Application Form of Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Scheme and submit it.
• Selection of Students for free coaching under the Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojna will be done on a merit basis which will be prepared on the marks obtained by students in their Class 10^th.
• Department of Higher and Technical Education will make the list of all eligible students and forward it to the High-Level Committee for further verification and approval.
• Students selected for free coaching will have to choose the coaching centre of their choice on the portal.
• Empanelled Coaching Centre will then verify the details and admission of the selected student.
• A coaching centre must submit monthly attendance of each student for disbursement of monthly financial assistance under the Chief Minister Shiksha Protsahan Yojana of the Government of Jharkhand.
• Rs. 2,500/- per month living expenses under Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana will be only transferred in the bank account of the student if they secured a minimum of 75% attendance for that month in the coaching centre.
• If any student fails to secure a minimum 75% attendance for any month, then no living expenses amount of Rs. 2,500/- will be released to students for that particular month.
