Introduction of Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana: A Brief Insight

• Jharkhand Government started a one-of-a-kind welfare scheme for women in the State.
• The aim of the Government in starting this scheme is to improve the financial conditions of women by providing them with monetary assistance.
• The old name of this scheme at the time of announcement was “Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Bahan Beti Swavalamban Yojana”.
• Thereafter, the Jharkhand Government renamed this scheme and named it “Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana”.
• Rs. 30,000/- in a year will be provided to every eligible woman of Jharkhand under this scheme.
• Financial Assistance will be distributed among women beneficiaries on per monthly basis.
• Under Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana of the Jharkhand Government, Rs. 2,500/- per month will be provided to each and every eligible woman beneficiary.
• Women applicants whose age is between 18 years to 50 years are eligible to avail the benefit of financial assistance provided under Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana.
• Green/ Yellow/ White/ Pink Ration Card holder families are only eligible to apply and avail the benefit of the Government of Jharkhand’s CM Maiyya Samman Scheme.
• Registration of Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Scheme is started and women can apply for financial assistance from 18-11-2025.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• Women of Jharkhand whose age is between 18 years to 50 years will get the following benefits from the Government of Jharkhand under its Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana :-
  

  Rs. 30,000/- Yearly Financial Assistance will provided. Assistance provided on a Monthly Basis which will be disbursed on the 15th of every month. Each Eligible woman will receive Rs. 2,500/- per month.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• The financial assistance of Rs. 2,500/- per month by the Jharkhand Government will be provided to only those beneficiaries who fulfil the following eligibility criteria of Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana :-
  

  Permanent Resident Women of Jharkhand are Eligible. The Age of the Applicant Women should be between 18 to 50 years. Voter ID Card and an Aadhar Card are required. Bank Account should be linked with Aadhaar. Women should belong to any one Ration Card Category :- White Ration Card. (K-Oil Ration Card) Green Ration Card. Pink Ration Card. (Grahasth Card) Yellow Ration Card. (Antyodaya Anna Yojana)

Ineligibility Conditions of the Scheme

• The Following Women are not eligible to avail the benefit of per monthly financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana of the Jharkhand Government :-
  

  If there is an Income Tax Payee in a Family. If the Women Applicant is registered in EPFO. If a woman applicant’s Husband or she herself is an employee of Central/ State/ PSU. If there is a Pensioner at the House. If there is a Current or Retired MP/ MLA in the House. If there is a beneficiary of any Social Security Scheme at the House.

Documents Required to be Attached

• Applicant Women will have to attach the documents mentioned below with the Application Form of Jharkhand Government’s Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana :-
  

  Self Declaration Form. Applicant Women Aadhar Card. Applicant Women Voter ID. Applicant’s Women Passport Size Photograph. First Page of Bank Passbook. Any one of the following Ration Card :- White Ration Card. Green Ration Card. Pink Ration Card. Yellow Ration Card. Mobile Number of Applicant Women.

How Beneficiaries Can Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• Applicant Women can apply for a monthly financial assistance of Rs. 2,500/- per month under the Government of Jharkhand’s Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana by filling the Application Form.
• Government of Jharkhand will organise camps in every Anganwadi Centre and Gram Panchayat for women to fill the form.
• Anganwadi Worker/ Sevika will also distribute Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana Application Form by visiting women’s houses.
• From 18-11-2025, the Registration Camps for Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana will start.
• Eligible Women can visit those camps to register themselves for financial assistance as promised under Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana by the Jharkhand Government.
• Officers present at camps will help the applicant women to fill out the Application Form of Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana.
• Attaching the Voter ID and Aadhar Card with the Application Form is mandatory.
• Officers will verify the Aadhar Card and Passport Size Photograph of the Applicant Woman.
• After verification, they submit the Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana Application Form and enter their details online on the Official Portal of the Scheme.
• Concerned Department will verify the received application form and all documents.
• Women selected for financial assistance will be informed through SMS at their mobile numbers.
• Rs. 2,500/- per month will then be transferred to the given bank account of the woman.
• Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana Registration will start from 18-11-2025 and the last date to apply in camps is 12-12-2025.
