Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme

Introduction of Scheme

• India faced lot of criticism about the large unemployment rate in a country.
• Government of India do all things they can to decrease the unemployment rate.
• Every State Government also take steps to decrease the unemployment rate and provide some relief to unemployment youths of the country.
• Most of the youths are educated unemployed youths who have higher education but they do not have jobs.
• While searching jobs those youths faces hardship financially, socially and emotionally.
• To assist those youths financially, Chhattisgarh Government come forward to help them while they are on hunt to find the job.
• Chhattisgarh Government started Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme for the educated but unemployed youth of Chhattisgarh State.
• It was announced by the Government of Chhattisgarh on 06-03-2023, while announcing budget of State.
• But from 01.04.2023 it is going to be officially started.
• Chhattisgarh Government’s Department of Skill Training, Technical Education and Employment is the nodal department of this scheme.
• This scheme is also called as “Chhattisgarh Berozgari Bhatta Yojana”.
• The main objective behind launching this scheme is to provide financial assistance to those youths who are searching the jobs to support them financially.
• Apart from the Unemployment Assistance, Government of Chhattisgarh will also provide Skill Training to selected youth so that they can easily find a job.
• Unemployment Allowance of Rs. 2,500/- is given to youths under Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme.
• Unemployed Youth between the Age Group of 18 Years to 35 Years are eligible to apply.
• 2 Year Old Registration in any District Employment Exchange of Chhattisgarh is mandatory to apply for Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme.
• Initially Unemployment Allowance is given for 1 Year and still if youth are unemployed then it will be further extended to 1 Year more.
• Application process is started for Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme.
• Eligible Educated Unemployed Youth can apply Online through Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme Portal.

Benefits Provided to Unemployed Youths

• The following benefits will be given to eligible educated unemployed youth of Chhattisgarh State under Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme :-
  

  Financial Assistance of Rs. 2,500/- per month as an Unemployment Allowance. Skill Training to Applicant.

Eligibility Conditions for Applicants

• The following eligibility conditions is set by the Chhattisgarh Government to avail the benefit of Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme :-
  

  Applicant should be resident of Chhattisgarh. Applicant should be 12th Passed. Applicant should be Unemployed at the time of applying. The Annual Family Income of Applicant should not be more than Rs. 2,50,000/-. Age of Applicant should be between 18 Years to 35 Years. Applicant should be registered in any District Employment Office of Chhattisgarh State. Applicant registration in District Employment Office should be minimum 2 Years old.

Ineligibility Conditions Set by Government

• If the Unemployed Youth falls in any of the following ineligibility conditions set by the Chhattisgarh Government then he/she is not eligible to avail the benefit of Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme :-
  

  Only One Unemployed Youth per Family is Eligible. If there is Income Tax Payee in a Family. If any Family Member is in Central or State Government Service. If Unemployed Youth rejects the offer Skill Training offered from Government. Sitting or Retired Member of Parliament or Legislative Assembly or Nagar Nigam or Panchayat. If any Family Member is a receiver of pension of Rs. 10,000/- or more. If there is any following professional in a family :- Engineer. Doctor. Advocate. Chartered Accountant. Architect.

Documents Required at the Time of Apply

• The following documents will be required at the time of applying for the benefit of Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme :-
  

  Employment Registration Card. Ration Card. 10th Marksheet. 10th Passing Certificate. 12th Marksheet. 12th Passing Certificate. Family Income Certificate. Residence Proof of Chhattisgarh. Passport Size Photo. Aadhar Card of Applicant. (Mandatory if Applicant has no Ration Card). Mobile Number. (Mandatory) Bank Account Details.

How Unemployed Applicant Can Apply for Allowance

• Eligible Educated Unemployed youth can apply Online for Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme.
• First they have Register themselves by entering their mobile number.
• Portal will verify the mobile number and sent an Login ID and Password on the same number.
• Applicant has to Login in the same portal by entering received Login ID (Mobile Number) and Password.
• Then fill the following details in phase wise in the Application Form of Chhattisgarh Uemployment Allowance Scheme :-
  • Personal Details.
  • Contact Details.
  • Employment Office Registration Details.
  • Upload the Documents.
• Click on Submit button and the Application for Unemployment Allowance is submitted.
• Application Form and Documents will be scrutinized by the Employment Exchange Officers.
• Then Applicants will be called by the officials for physical verification.
• All the original documents will be verify by the officers.
• Once all the verification completed, the application form will be sent for further approval.
• After approval unemployment allowance will be transferred in the bank of applicant in every month.

Key Features of Scheme

• Only one person per family is eligible to apply for unemployment allowance.
• Unemployment Allowance provided under Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme will not extended more than 2 Years in any condition.
• Taking a Skill Training Course or Recommended Job is mandatory for Applicant, if refuses then his/her allowance will be stopped.
• Family Member of Group D or Fourth Class Employees of Central of State Government are eligible to apply.
• Applicant can also register complaint of any kind if they face any hardship for Chhattisgarh Unemployment Allowance Scheme.
• If Applicant has no ration card then in that case Aadhar Card is mandatorily needed to apply.
• Unemployment Allowance will be stopped once applicant find a job or self employed.
