Government of Delhi will provided monthly finacial assistance of Rs. 1,000/- per month under its Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme to all women beneficiaries who are above 18 years of age. Introduction of Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme: A Brief Insight

• While presenting the annual buget of Delhi for the year 2024-2025, Delhi Government had announced to start women centric scheme named “Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme”.
• The main aim behind announcing to start this scheme is to support women belongs to low income group families so that they can be financial stable.
• Delhi Government’s Women and Child Development Department is the implementing authority of Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme.
• The other major names of this scheme are “Delhi Chief Minister Mahila Samman Scheme” or “Delhi Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana”.
• The government of Delhi will now provide monthly financial assistance to all eligible women beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme.
• All eligible women beneficiaries will get Rs. 1,000/- monthly assistance under this scheme for their daily need expenses.
• Any permanent resident women of Delhi whose age is above 18 years are eligible to get Rs. 1,000/- assistance under Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme of Delhi Government.
• It is to be estimated that a budget of more than 2,000/- crore is allocated for this scheme for its smooth implementation.
• A voter identity card is mandatory when applying for this scheme.
• If any women applicant is already a beneficiary of any of the below-mentioned schemes of Delhi Government then she is not eligible to apply :-
  • Delhi Old Age Pension Scheme.
  • Delhi Disability Pension Scheme.
  • Delhi Financial Assistance Scheme to Women in Distress.

• If AAP Government wins the upcoming assembly election of Delhi then financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme will be increased from Rs. 1,000/- per month to Rs. 2,100/- per month.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• The following benefits will be provided to all eligible women beneficiaries by Delhi Government under its Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme :-
  • Monthly Financial Assistance will be provided to Women Beneficiaries.
  • Rs. 1,000/- per Month Financial Assistance will be Credited Directly in Women’s Bank Account.
  • After winning upcoming elections of Delhi, this financial assistance will be increased to Rs. 2,100/- per month.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Government of Delhi will provide the monthly assistance to only those women beneficiaries who fulfill the following eligibility criteria of Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme :-
  • Only Permanent Resident of Delhi are Eligible to Apply.
  • The Age of Women Beneficiary should be more than 18 years.
  • Women Beneficiary should have Valid Voter Identity Card of Delhi.
  • The Family Annual Income of Women should not be more than Rs. 3,00,000/-.

Ineligibility Conditions Set by Government

• Rs. 1,000/- monthly assistance to women beneficiaries under Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme will not be provided to those beneficiaries who falls within the ambit of any of the below mentioned ineligibility conditions :-
  • Any Retired or Serving Government Employee.
  • Any Retired or Current MP, MLA or Councillor.
  • Any Income Tax Payee Women Beneficiary.
  • Beneficiary Women of Old Age Pension Scheme, Disability Pension Scheme or Financial Assistance Scheme to Women in Distress.

Documents Required to be Attached

• Women Beneficiaries of Delhi will have to attach the below mentioned documents with the Application Form of Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme of Delhi Government :-
  • Domicile of Delhi/ Any Residence Proof.
  • Voter Identity Card of Women Applicant.
  • Women Beneficiary Aadhar Card.
  • Details of Bank Account.
  • Passport Size Photograph.

How Beneficiaries Can Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• • Registration Process of Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme of Delhi Government is started by the Government.
  • According to government sources, AAP ground workers will distribute the Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme Application Form door to door to reach out women beneficiaries.
  • Women Beneficiaries will have to Fill the Application Form correctly and attach all the required documents with it and submit it to the volunteers of Aam Aadmi Party.
  • Officials from the Women and Child Development Department of Delhi Government will accept the application form and scrutinised it.
  • List Women Beneficiaries selected for per month assistance will be made and make public so that beneficiaries can check their names.
  • All eligible women beneficiaries will receive the monthly assistance of Rs. 1,000/- in their bank account.
  • In future, Delhi Government will also launch the Official Website of Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme.
  • Women Applicant can apply and also check their Application Status for Delhi Government’s Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme Online.
  • Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Scheme Card or Kejriwal Kavach Card will be provided to each beneficiaries.
