Introduction of Delhi Saheli Pink Smart Card Scheme: A Brief Insight
- Chief Minister of Delhi Smt. Rekha Gupta announced on Twitter that the Saheli Pink Smart Card Scheme (दिल्ली सहेली पिंक स्मार्ट कार्ड योजना) will be implemented very soon in the State.
- Then on 02-03-2026, Government launched the Saheli Pink Smart Card Scheme in the presence of the President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu Ji.
- It will take place under the earlier scheme of the Kejriwal-led Delhi Government, named “Pink Ticket Scheme”.
- Transport Corporation of the Delhi Government is the implementing agency of this scheme.
- The benefits under the Saheli Pink Smart Card Scheme are the same as the Pink Ticket Scheme.
- Girls, Women, and Transgender individuals aged above 12 are eligible to receive the benefit of free of cost travel in buses within Delhi.
