Introduction of the Jamia Hamdard RCA Civil Services Coaching Program: A Brief Insight

• Every year Union Public Service Commission conducts prestigious Civil Services Exmination.
• It is a dream of every applicant to be a Civil Servant.
• But due to tough to crack nature of this examination, many applicant fails to do that.
• Most of the applicant adapt coaching to prepare themselves for this examination.
• So, to provide academic support and proper guidance along with better personality development, Jamia Hamdard University started their Residential Coaching Academy in the year 2009.
• The main aim behind starting this academy is to develop candidates and prepare them for civil services examination so that they can face the tough competition.
• Jamia Hamdard University will selected students every year for their Residential Coaching Academy through their national level written test, group discussion and personal interview.
• Selected Students will get coaching for civil services examination at main campus of Jamia Hamdard located at Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi.
• Students who completed their graduation program are only eligible to apply for entrance examination of this coaching program.
• The time period of coaching provided under Jamia Hamdard RCA Civil Services Coaching Program is 10 months.
• Students selected for this coaching program will go through rigorous and intensive coaching which includes regular written tests, personality development, hostel and mess facility, Library, Personal Guidance and many more facilities.
• Along with this, 20% out of selected students will also get stipend of Rs. 2,000/- per month.
• Students will selected for stipends through merit cum means and submitting of income certificate is mandatory in order to get monthly stipend.
• Jamia Hamdard Univeristy will conduct national level written test to select students for civil services coaching which consist 2 groups.
• Group A has 100 multiple choice questions of General Studies of 300 marks whereas Group B has Group Discussion and Personal Interview of 50 Marks.
• There will also a negative marking for each wrong answer.
• The total seats available in Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy is 85 out of which 60 seats is for male and 15 seats is for female.
• There is also facility of Self Finance Scheme in which 15 seats (10 seats for male and 5 seats for female) will be reserved for students.
• Self Finance Scheme Admission in Jamia Hamdard RCA Civil Services Coaching Program will be open between 5th April 2025 to 15th April 2025.
• However, Civil Services Coaching Program of Jamia Hamdard Residential Academy is not free like Jamia Millia Islamia RCA Coaching Program for Civil Services or Aligarh Muslim University Coaching Program for Civil Services.
• Students selected through national level test will have to pay Rs. 57,000/- for their 10 months coaching.
• And Self Finance Scheme students will have to pay Rs. 1,20,000/- (in two equal installment) for 10 months of coaching for civil sevices.
• UPSC mains qualified students for the year 2023 and 2024 are exempted from giving entrance test.
• Interested Students can apply for Jamia Hamdard RCA Civil Services Coaching Program through Online Application Form from 21-01-2025.
• The last date to apply for this program is 10-02-2025.
• Entrance Examination Date of Jamia Hamdard RCA Coaching Program is 22-02-2025.
• Entrance Examination Centre of this exam are Jamia Hamdard University Campus, New Delhi and Jamia Hamdard, Kannur, Kerala.

• Students selected under Coaching Program of Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy will get the following facility during their 10 months stay :-
  

  Intensive and Rigorous Coaching will be Provided. Regular Written Tests. Personality Development. Personal Support and Guidance. Regular Interactive Sessions with Serving Civil Servants. Group Discussions. Regular Debates among Students. Development of Communication Skills. Dedicated Library Opened for 20 Hours. Regular Newspapers. Periodicals. Books and Notes. Hostel Facility for 10 Months of Stay. Mess Facility. Stipend of Rs. 2,000/- per Month will also Provided to 20% Students.

Maintenance and Other Charges Charged by JHRCA

• Selected Students will have to pay the following charges at the time of admission for their 10 months stay in Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy :-

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Jamia Hamdard University will admit only those students under its Residential Coaching Academy for Civil Services Coaching after written test, group discussion and interview and those who fulfill the below mentioned eligibility conditions also :-
  

  Applicant Student should have completed any of the following graduation course :- BA. B.Com. B.Sc. B.Tech. B.Pharma. Or any other Equivalent Graduation Examination. Applicant Student belongs to any of the below mentioned category are eligible to apply :- Minorities. (Muslims, Sikhs, Buddhist, Jains, Parsis, Zorostrians) Schedule Caste. Schedule Tribe. Women. Apart from that the following students are not eligible to get admission in Residentail Coaching Academy of Jamia Hamdard University :- JHRCA Student for 2 Consecutive Years. Students who didn’t return books of library. Students who are defaulters of Mess Charges and Hostel Maintenance Charges.

• Fill the Captcha and Click on Register Button.
• A welcome message will appear on scheme which direct students to their verify their account by clicking on email which is sent on Applicant’s Email.
  
• Student will have to open their Email Account and click on link to verify their account.
  
• Now again go to Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy Website and Login with the help of Email and Chosen Password.
  
• After login, Click on Start Your Application.

• Applicant Student will have to pay the Application Fees of Rs. 1093.60/- as entrance examination fees.
• Print the Submitted Application Form of Jamia Hamdard RCA Civil Services Coaching Program for future reference.
• Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy will then release the Admit Card of Students on 15th of February 2025.

Entrance Examination/ Admission Selection Criteria

• The entrance examination criteria through which students will be selected for civil services coaching program of Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy are as follows :-
  

  Group A Paper	General Studies. 100 MCQs. Timing :- 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM (2 Hours) Marks :- 300 1/3 Marks will be deducted for each Wrong Answer.
  Group B	Students Qualify Entrance Examination will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interviews. Marks :- 50. Venue :- Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi.

Admission Cancellation Policy of JHRC

• After taking admission, if any selected students want to withdraw their admission then Jamia Hamdard Residential Coaching Academy will follow the following cancellation policy :-
  

  Time Period of Admission Cancellation	Deductions
  Within 30 Days of Admission	10% Maintenance Charge will be deducted.
  Within 60 Days of Admission	30% Maintenance Charge will be deducted.
  Within 90 Days of Admission	50% Maintenance Charge will be deducted.
  After 90 Days	No Refund will be Provided.
