Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana is started by Government of Jharkhand to provided financial support to women. Introduction of Scheme: A Brief Insight

• Jharkhand Government started one of its kind welfare scheme for women in the State.
• The aim of Government to start this scheme is to improve the financial conditions of women by providing them monetary assistance.
• The old name of this scheme at the time of announcement is “Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Bahan Beti Swavalamban Yojana”.
• Now Jharkhand Government renamed this scheme name to “Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana”.
• Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana is also known by some other names such as “Jharkhand Chief Minister Mahila Samman Scheme” or “Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Scheme” or “Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Yojana” or “Chief Minister Maiyya Samman Scheme”.
• Rs. 12,000/- in a year will be provided to every eligible women of Jharkhand under this scheme.
• Financial Assistance will be distributed among women beneficiaries on per month basis.
• Under Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana of Jharkhand Government, Rs. 1,000/- per month will be provided as benefit to women.
• Jharkhand Government will not provide this financial assistance to all women.
• Women whose age is above 21 years and below 50 years are eligible to avail the benefit of financial assistance provided under Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana.
• Green/ Yellow/ White/ Pink Ration Card holder families are eligible to apply.
• Registration of Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana is started and women can apply for financial assistance from 03-08-2024.
• Last date to fill Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana Application Form is 10-08-2024.

Benefits Provided to Women

• Women of Jharkhand whose age is between 21 years to 50 years will get the following benefits by Government of Jharkhand under Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana :-
  

  Rs. 12,000/- Yearly Financial Assistance will Provided. Assistance Provided on a Monthly Basis. Rs. 1,000/- per Month will be Given.

Eligibility Conditions Sets for Women

• Rs. 1,000/- per month financial assistance provided by Jharkhand Government under Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana will only provided to those women who fulfil the below mentioned eligibility conditions :-
  

  Jharkhand Resident Women. Age of Applicant Women must be above 21 years and below 50 years. Voter ID Card and Aadhar Card is required. Bank Account should be Linked with Aadhar. Women should be belong to any one Ration Card Category :- White Ration Card. (K-Oil Ration Card) Green Ration Card. Pink Ration Card. (Grahasth Card) Yellow Ration Card. (Antyodaya Anna Yojana)

Ineligibility Conditions of Scheme

• Following Women are not eligible to avail the benefit of per month financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana of Jharkhand Government :-
  ]

  If there is a Income Tax Payee in a Family. If Women Applicant is registered in EPFO. If Women Applicant’s Husband or she herself is an employee of Central/ State/ PSU. If there is a Pensioner at House. If there is Current or Retired MP/ MLA at House. If there is a beneficiary of any Social Security Scheme at House.

Documents Required to be Attached with Application Form

• Applicant Women will have to attach below mentioned documents with the Application Form of Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana :-
  

  Self Declaration Form. Applicant Women Aadhar Card. Applicant Women Voter ID. Applicant Women Passport Size Photograph. First Page of Bank Passbook. Any one of the following Ration Card :- White Ration Card. Green Ration Card. Pink Ration Card. Yellow Ration Card. Mobile Number of Applicant Women.

How Women Can Apply for Assistance

• Applicant Women can apply for monthly financial assistance of Rs. 1,000/- per month under Government of Jharkhand’s Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana by filling the Application Form.
• Government of Jharkhand will organize camps in every Anganwadi Centre and Gram Panchayat for women to fill the form.
• Anganwadi Worker/ Sevika will also distribute Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana Application Form by visiting women’s house.
• From 03-08-2024, the Registration Camps for Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana will start.
• Eligible Women can visit those camps to Register themselves for financial assistance as promised under Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana.
• Officers present at camps will help applicant women to fill the Application Form of Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana.
• Attaching Voter ID and Aadhar Card with the Application Form is mandatory.
• Officers will verify the Aadhar Card and Passport Size Photograph of Applicant Women.
• After verification, they submit Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana Application Form.
• Concerned Department will verify the received application form and all documents.
• Women selected for financial assistance will be informed through SMS on their mobile number.
• Rs. 1,000/- per month will be then transferred in the given bank account of women.
• Mukhyamantri Maiyya Samman Yojana Registration will start from 03-08-2024 and the last date to apply in camps is 10-08-2024.
• Applicant Women can also apply after 10-08-2024 by visiting any nearest Pragya Centre.
