Introduction of Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme: A Brief Insight
- On 05-02-2025, Delhi Assmebly Election got concluded and BJP won with clear majority after 26 years of long gap.
- Oath oath-taking ceremony will going to be scheduled on 20th of February 2025.
- To win the Delhi Election, BJP had announced lots of pre-election welfare schemes for people.
- Some of the major pre-election promises are “Atal Canteen Yojana”, “Mahila Samriddhi Yojana”, “Mukhyamantri Matritva Suraksha Yojana”, “Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Stipend Scheme”, and “Mukhyamantri Kanyadaan Yojana” and “Mukhyamantri Digital Education Scheme”.
- After oath oath-taking ceremony, the new Delhi Government led by the Bharatiya Janta Party will going to launch every single scheme in phased wise manner.
- One scheme which promised with an objective to support students of secondary and higher secondary schools are “Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme”.
- This scheme is not going be a general one, this scheme will focus on a special category of students.
- Bharataya Janta Party led Delhi Government will start Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme for only below mentioned category students who are currently studying in Class 8th to Class 12th :-
- Students belongs to Economically Disadvantaged Families.
- Student belongs to 1984 Riots Affected Families.
- Student belongs to Displaced Families from Kashmir.
- This scheme will support above mentioned students economically so that they can make their future bright and forgot the wounds which they carried on their shoulders.
- Yearly Scholarships will be provided under the Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme to all eligible students who are currently studying in from Class 8th to Class 12th.
- Class 8th Students will get yearly scholarship of Rs. 2,500/- per year.
- And, Class 9th to Class 12th Students will get Rs. 3,500/- per year scholarship under Delhi Governments Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme.
- Once the government takes oath in Delhi and the cabinet is formed then the process to implement all welfare schemes along with this scheme will be started in a phased wise manner.
- Concerned Department most probably the Delhi Government’s Education Department will draft the guidelines of this scheme and sent it to cabinet for approval.
- Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme will launch in whole of NCT of Delhi as soon as the cabinet of Delhi Government gave its approval.
- Beneficiary Students will have to wait till the official launch of Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme in order to get yearly scholarship.
- After its official launch, this scheme is going to be known by other popular names also which are “Chief Minister Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Delhi” or “Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Yojana Delhi” or “Chief Minister Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Yojana Delhi”.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries
- The below mentioned benefits will be provided to all eligible students who belongs to economically disadvantage family, families displaced from Kashmir and 1984 riots affected families :-
- Yearly Scholarships will be Provided to Class 8th to Class 12th Students.
- Class 8th Students will get a Yearly Scholarship of Rs. 2,500/- per Year.
- Class 9th to Class 12th Students will get a Yearly Scholarship of Rs. 3,500/- per Year.
- Scholarships under this scheme will be provided in Installments.
Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled
- Yearly Scholarship of 2,500/- per Year and Rs. 3,500/- per year will be provided to only those students by Delhi Government who fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria of Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme :-
- Scholarship will only Provided to Class 8th and Class 9th to Class 12th Students.
- Beneficiary Students should be belong to any of the following Category :-
- Economically Disadvantaged Families.
- Displaced Families from Kashmir.
- 1984 Riot Affected Families.
- Student should be currently studying in any of the below mentioned class :-
- Class 8th.
- Class 9th.
- Class 10th.
- Class 11th.
- Class 12th.
- The remaining Eligibility Criteria will be released after its launch.

- Beneficiary Students will be have to submit the below mentioned documents with the Application Form of Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme of Delhi Government in order to get yearly scholarship :-
- Any Residence Proof ir Domicile of Delhi.
- Student’s Aadhaar Card.
- Identity Card of School.
- Parent’s Aadhaar Card.
- Certificate of Income.
- Category Certificate to Proof Economically Disadvantage, Kashmir Displaced Families and Families Affected by 1984 Riots.
- Income Certificate of Family.
- Color Passport Size Photograph.
- Bank Account Number with IFSC Code.
- Mobile Number.
How Beneficiaries Can Apply to Avail the Benefit of this Scheme
- BJP had announced Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme at the time of delhi assembly election.
- Oath taking ceremony of BJP led Delhi Government will be scheduled on 20-02-2025.
- Cabinet will be formed and government will soon going to start all election promise in phased manner.
- Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme Official Guidelines will be drafted by concerned department then.
- Department will decide the application process in the drafted guidelines.
- Then it will submitted in front of Cabinet for approval.
- Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme for economically disadvantaged, families displaced from Kashmir, and families affected by 1984 riots will be launched in whole of NCT of Delhi.
- If the mode of submission of application is offline then Offline Application Form can be collected from Concerned School and Official Department.
- And if the mode of application is online then Delhi Government might also launch Official Portal of Mukhyamantri Shiksha Protsahan Nidhi Scheme for smooth implementation.
- So to get financial assistance as yearly scholarship, Students of Class 8th and Class 9th to Class 12th will have to wait little bit more till this scheme gets launched.
