The Government of Uttar Pradesh launched a unique health care scheme for serving and retired government employees and their dependents.
The scheme name is “Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rajya Karmchari Cashless Chikitsa Yojana”.
This scheme was launched in the whole of Uttar Pradesh on 07-01-2022.
The main objective behind starting this scheme is to provide free and cashless treatment facilities to employees of the Uttar Pradesh Government.
Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rajya Karmchari Cashless Chikitsa Yojana is implemented by the Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare with the help of the State Agency for Comprehensive Health & Integrated Services. (SACHIS)
Serving and Retired Government Employees of the Uttar Pradesh Government and their family members will now get the benefit of free and cashless treatment under Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Rajya Karmchari Cashless Chikitsa Yojana.
The government issued State Health Cards to all eligible beneficiaries under this scheme, through which they can avail the benefit of free treatment at any government or empaneled private hospital.
Beneficiaries can avail the benefits of free and cashless treatment up to Rs. 5 lakh in any Ayushman Scheme empaneled private hospital across India.
Whereas there is no maximum financial limit if the beneficiary avail the service of free and cashless treatment in any Government Hospital in Uttar Pradesh.
This scheme also covers major diseases, and facilities of General, Semi-Private, and Private Rooms/ Wards are also available.
State Health Card is a mandatory document; in case of nonavailability of the State Health Card, no benefit of cashless treatment will be provided under the UP Cashless Health Scheme.

The process to download the State Health Card UP under UP Cashless Medical Scheme is very simple.
Beneficiary Applicant will receive an SMS from SECTS Portal by DDO/ TO and the SMS content will be like “Your State Health Card has been approved. Visit “sects.up.gov.in/PrintCard.aspx” for eKYC & downloading your card.
Open the link and Click on Print Your Card.
Verify your Mobile Number with OTP.
Enter State Name, Scheme Name, District Name and Registration ID to search the record.
Select Self and Dependents and complete the eKYC using Aadhaar Card OTP.
An SMS will receive by the beneficiary after successful completion of eKYC and the message will be like “Congratulations. Your State Health Card has been generated with Unique ID: XX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Print your card by clicking on “sects.up.gov.in/PrintCard.aspx”.
