Introduction of the Mai Bhago Vidya Scheme: A Brief Insight

• The mode of transportation in rural areas as well as in urban areas is always been a problem for students studying in schools.
• And if the student is a Girl, then in most of cases they leave the school instead of going so far to study.
• To solve the problem of students, the Government of Punjab started a major welfare scheme in the State.
• Punjab Mai Bhago Vidya Scheme is a boon for the welfare of Girl Students in the Punjab.
• It was started in the year 2011.
• The main objective behind launching the Punjab Mai Bhago Vidya Scheme is to encourage girl students of Punjab to continue and complete their basic education.
