Problems Faced by Students of Assam Regarding CM Jibon Prerana and Its Solutions

  • As we all know, the Government of Assam has released the first instalment of the CM Jibon Prerana Scheme.
  • However, many students have not yet benefited from this scheme.
  • Under the scheme’s process, students were required to submit their applications through the DIDS Portal.
  • After submission, the application goes through multiple levels of verification.
  • First, the student’s college verifies the details and documents.
  • After that, the concerned university reviews the application.
  • Finally, the Program Officer conducts the final verification before payment is processed.
  • At present, some students have reported that their applications were rejected by their college or university with the remark “Incorrect Documents.”
  • In such cases, students should first visit the nodal officer of their respective college and clearly explain their situation and submit the correct documents.
  • The nodal officer can review the issue and guide the student regarding document correction or resubmission.
  • If the college authorities do not provide proper assistance, students should approach the Program Officer responsible for the scheme.
  • The Program Officer has the authority to review the application and help resolve verification-related problems.
  • If the issue remains unresolved, students should file a formal complaint with the District Education Officer (DEO) of their district.
  • The DEO can investigate the matter and coordinate with the concerned authorities to ensure that eligible students receive their benefits.
  • On the other hand, students whose application status shows “Your Application is in Disbursement” do not need to worry.
  • This status means that their application has already been approved and the payment process has started.
  • They only need to wait, and the amount will soon be credited to their bank account.
  • Additionally, students can also submit their queries or complaints through email at infochiefministersscheme@gmail.com, where they can explain their problem and request assistance regarding the scheme.
