Haryana Government will provide 3 months of IT skill training to those youths who have completed their graduation or post-graduation course in engineering or an IT Course under the IT Saksham Scheme. Skilled and Trained Youth will then get an employment opportunity to work with Government Departments and agencies for 2 years and will receive a monthly remuneration of Rs. 20,000/- per month for the first 6 months, and for 7 months onwards, the monthly remuneration will be Rs. 25,000/- per month.

Introduction of Haryana IT Saksham Yuva Scheme: A Brief Insight

• Haryana Government started a much-needed employment scheme named IT Saksham Yuva Scheme in the year 2024.
• The main objective of the Government of Haryana behind starting this scheme is to provide employment opportunities to those youths who have completed their graduation and post-graduation from Engineering or IT courses.
• IT Saksham Yuva Scheme is implemented by the Citizen Resources Information Department of Haryana Government.
• The government will provide 3 months of skill training of short-term IT Courses to selected youths under the IT Saksham Yuva Scheme.
• Youths who completed 3 months IT-skilled training under this scheme will then get an employment opportunity to work in the Government of Haryana’s Department, Agencies, Registered Societies, Corporations, or Boards.
• Complete course fees will be paid by the Government of Haryana.
• Citizen Resources Information Department of Haryana Government will offer employment opportunities to trained youths in IT Saksham Yuva Yojana for a period of 2 years.

• Only those youths are eligible to get a monthly unemployment allowance whose family income is not more than Rs. 3,00,000/- per year.
• Youths who are permanent residents of Haryana and in the age group of 18 to 35 years and have done his/ her graduation in B.Tech/ BCA/BSc. IT or post-graduation in M.E/ M.Tech/ MCA/ MSc IT/ MBA IT are eligible to apply for the IT Saksham Yuva Scheme of the Haryana Government.
• Specially designed Short Term Courses of 3 months to selected youths under the IT Saksham Yuva Scheme will be provided by Haryana State Electronics Development Corporation (HARTRON), Haryana Knowledge Corporation Limited (HKCL), and Shri Vishwakarma Skill University. (SVSU)
• IT Saksham Yuva Scheme will be implemented in a phased manner, in which the government aims to provide skill training to 60,000/- youths free of cost, and 5,000 youths will be selected for IT skill training in the first phase.

• Applicant Youths selected for skill training of 3 months under IT Saksham Yuva Scheme can choose any of the below-mentioned IT courses as per their eligibility :-
  • Digital Marketing and Social Media Handling.
  • Server Administration: Microsoft/ Linux.
  • Web and Mobile Application Development.
  • Networking – Network Support, LAN, and WAN.
  • DBA in SQL, Postgre SQL etc.
  • Secure Coding in Java, DotNet, PHP etc.
  • Any Other Course in Emerging Technologies.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• Selected and Eligible Youths of the State will get the following benefits from the Haryana Government under its IT Saksham Yuva Scheme :-
  • 3 Months Free Skill Training in IT (Information Technology) will be provided.
  • Skilled Youths will get an Employment Opportunity in Government Departments, Boards, Corporations, Registered Societies, and Agencies for 2 years.
  • Monthly Remuneration of Rs. 20,000/- per month for the first 6 months will also be provided to selected youths.
  • From the 7th Month, Selected Youth will get Rs. 25,000/- monthly remuneration.
  • If Skilled Youth cannot get Employment, then he/ she will get Rs. 10,000/- monthly unemployment allowance for a maximum period of 1 year.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• IT Skills Enhancement Training and short-term employment in government departments/ boards will only be provided to those eligible youths who fulfill the following eligibility criteria of IT Saksham Yuva Scheme of Haryana Government :-
  

  Permanent Resident Youth of Haryana are Eligible to Apply. Applicant Youth should have a Parivar Pehchan Patra ID. (PPP ID) The Age of the Applicant Youth should be 18 to 35 years. Applicant Youth should be Unemployed and should not be in any type of Government, Private, or self-employment. Applicant Youth should have a degree in any one of the below-mentioned graduate or postgraduate courses :- B.Tech. BCA. BSc. IT. M.E. M.Tech. MCA. MSc. IT. MBA IT. The Annual Family Income of the Applicant Youth should be less than Rs. 3 Lakh per year. (To get Unemployment Allowance Only)
