Introduction of Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme: A Brief Insight

• Congress Party forms their government in Telangana after defeating the BRS party.
• During the election, the party announced six guarantees for people, which are welfare schemes for every faction of society.
• Some of the major welfare schemes which announced was announced at the time of the election were “Mahalakshmi Scheme” “Gruha Jyothi Scheme” and “Indiramma Indlu Housing Scheme”.
• Congress Party also promises to provide financial assistance to farmers, landless farmers and farm labourers.
• Now, after taking the cabinet meeting some days back, Telangana CM Shri Revantha Reddy has made a major announcement to start two major schemes in the State.
• The first scheme is “Rythu Bharosa Scheme” which is for Small and Marginal Farmers, in which yearly financial assistance of Rs. 12,000/- per acre per year will be given
• On the other hand, the other major and prominent welfare scheme is “Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme”.
• This scheme was launched on 26-01-2025.
• This scheme is going to be started specifically for Landless Agricultural Farmers which are known as Tenant Farmers and for Agricultural Farm Labourers.
• The main objective behind starting this scheme is to provide financial stability by fixing their income so that they cannot rely on their seasonal agricultural income.
• Tenants Farmers and Agricultural Labourers will now get yearly financial assistance under the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Pathakam of the Telangana Government.
• Rs. 12,000/- yearly assistance will be received by Landless Tenants Farmers and Agricultural Farm Labourers under the Telangana Government’s Indiraamma Atmeeya Bharosa Scheme.
• Financial Assistance provided under this scheme will empower the beneficiaries and their families financially and make them stable.
• All Eligible Landless tenant farmers and Agricultural Farm Labourers of Telangana are eligible to get financial assistance of Rs. 12,000/- per year in instalments under Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme.
• Telangana Government has already launched this scheme on 26-01-2025.
• Online Registration under the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme can be done through Praja Palana Centres or CSC Centres.
• Contact the District Agriculture Officer (DAO) or the Mandal Agriculture Officer (MAO) for offline registration and in case any help or assistance is required regarding the Indira Amma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

• Government of Telangana will provide the following benefits to all eligible Agricultural Labourers and Landless Tenant Farmers under Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme :-
  • Yearly Financial Assistance will be provided to all Eligible Beneficiaries.
  • Rs. 12,000/- per Year will be given to Selected Farm Labourers and Tenant Farmers.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

• Financial Assistance of Rs. 12,000/- per year under Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme of Government of Telangana will only be provided to those beneficiaries who fulfil the following eligibility criteria of scheme :-
  • Only Permanent Resident People of Telangana are Eligible to Apply.
  • Beneficiary Applicant should be a Landless Tenant Farmer or Agricultural Farm Labourer.

Documents Required to be Attached

• The documents which are required at the time of applying for yearly financial assistance of Rs. 12,000/- under Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme of Telangana Government are mentioned below :-
  • Telangana Resident Proof.
  • Beneficiary Aadhar Card.
  • Beneficiary Voter Identity Card.
  • Self Declaration. (For Agricultural Labourers)
  • Agricultural Land Owner Certificate. (For Tenant Farmers)
  • Mobile Number.
  • Bank Account Number with IFSC Code.

How Beneficiaries Can Apply to Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

• Landless Farmers or Agricultural Labourers of Telangana can apply for Rs. 12,000/- per year assistance under Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme through the following ways :-
  • Through the Offline Application Form.
  • Through the Praja Palana Centre or CSC.

Through the Application Form

• Offline Application Form of Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme of the Government of Telangana can be collected from the office of the District Agriculture Officer or the Mandal Agriculture Officer.
• Application Form is completely free of cost.
• Collect the Application Form and fill it out correctly.
• Attach all the required documents with the Application Form.
• Submit the Indiramma Atmeeya Bharosa Scheme Application Form along with all the documents in the Mandal Agriculture or District Agriculture Officer’s Office.
• DAO or MAO will initially verify the received application forms and documents.
• A list of Farm Labourers and Landless Farmers selected for financial assistance will be made and forwarded for further approval to the Department of Agriculture.
• Rs. 12,000/- on a yearly basis will be transferred directly in the bank account of agricultural labourers and landless farmers in instalments once their applications is finally approved by the department.

Through Praja Palana Centres or CSC

• Eligible Beneficiaries can also register themselves under the Indiramma Atmeeya Bharosa Scheme by visiting their nearest CSC or Praja Palana Centre.
• Agricultural Labourers and Landless Farmers of Telangana will have to visit their nearest Praja Palana Centre or CSC Centre.
• Take all the documents with you.
• Praja Palana/ CSC Centre Operator present there will fill the Indiramma Atmiya Online Application Form on the applicant’s behalf by logging in on the Official Website of Praja Palana.
• Scanned documents will be uploaded on the portal by the operator.
• Check the filled details and before finally submitting the application form.
• If all is filled correctly, then the operator will submit the Indira Amma Atmeeya Bharosa Scheme Online Application Form.
• District or Mandal Agriculture Officer will verify the Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Application Form and documents.
• A list of Eligible Beneficiaries will be made and further forwarded to the Agriculture Department for verification.
• Selected Landless/ Tenant Farmers and Farm Labourers will receive Rs. 12,000/- per year in instalments directly in their bank account.
• Beneficiaries can also check their Application Status of Indiramma Atmiya Bharosa Scheme by entering their acknowledgement number as shown below.
