Introduction of Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana: A Brief Insight

Tripura Government started the Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana in the year 2020.
The main aim of the Government behind starting this scheme is to empower college students digitally.
The government of Tripura’s Directorate of Information Technology is the implementing department of this scheme.
The government will now provide financial assistance to eligible students to purchase smartphones so that they can use it in their studies.
Rs. 5,000/- will be provided to beneficiary students under Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana of the Tripura Government.
This scheme is only for final-year students of Undergraduate Courses who are currently studying in the Government of Tripura’s Colleges, Universities, and Institutions.
Beneficiary Students or his/her parents will have to purchase the smartphone first with a valid GST Invoice.
After that, Students will have to apply for Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana through Beneficiary Management Ecosytem Portal.
Submission of a Valid GST Invoice duly signed by the Principal or Head of Educational Institutions is mandatorily required at the time of application.
After thorough verification, financial assistance of Rs. 5,000/- as promised by the Tripura Government for the purchase of a smartphone will be reimbursed in the bank account of Beneficiary Students.

Every Year from July to August, the Tripura Government issues a notification to apply for the Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana.
This scheme has some other popular names also which are “Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Scheme Tripura” or “Chief Minister Yuba Yogayog Scheme Tripura” or “Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana (Special) Scheme”.

Beneficiary Students of Tripura will get the below-mentioned benefits from Government under Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana :-
- Financial Assistance will be provided for the purchase of a Smartphone.
- Students will get Rs. 5,000/- Assistance for Smartphone Purchase under this scheme.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

Government of Tripura will provide Rs. 5,000/- for the purchase of a Smartphone under Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana to only those students who fulfill the following eligibility criteria of scheme :-
- Permanent Resident Students of Tripura are Eligible to Apply.
- Beneficiary Student should be in the Last Year of his/ her Undergraduate Course.
- Beneficiary Students should be Studying in a Government College, University or Institute.
- Smartphone should be Purchased in the Name of Students or Parents.

Documents Required to be Attached

Beneficiary Students will have to upload the following scanned copy of documents at the time of applying for a grant of Rs. 5,000/- for a Smartphone under Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana of Tripura Government :-
- Recent Passport Size Photo of Student.
- Student Aadhaar Card.
- Family Ration Card.
- Signed GST Invoice of Smartphone Purchase.
- Last Year or Semester Marksheet.
- Bank Account Details with IFSC Code.

How Beneficiaries Can Avail the Benefit of this Scheme

Beneficiary Students or her/ his parents will have to purchase the smartphone first and then apply for reimbursement of Rs. 5,000/- under the Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana of the Tripura Government.
Online Application Form is available on the Beneficiary Management Ecosystem Portal.
Student will have to Register themselves first by Entering their Name, Email ID, and Mobile Number.
Portal will verify Email and Mobile Number through OTP.
After Registration, the Beneficiary Student will have to Login on the portal again with their Email ID or Mobile Number.
Portal again verifies Email and Mobile Number with OTP.
Enter Your Ration Card Number and Click on Search.
A Complete Family Details of the student will appear out which student will have to select his/ her name.
Fill in Personal Details, Address and Contact Details, Bank Account Details in the Online Application Form of Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana.
Upload all the required documents.
Uploading GST Invoice of the Purchased Smartphone which is duly signed by the Principal or Head of the Institution is mandatory.
Checked all the filled details and Clicked on the Submit Button to Submit it.
An Acknowledgement Slip will be generated which has to be saved by the Student for future reference.
Physical Copies of Documents like the Submitted Application Form of Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana, acknowledgment slip, and Hard Copy of Documents will have to be submitted by Students in their respective Colleges/Universities/Institutions.
Respective Educational Institutions in which the student is studying will verify the submitted applications and forward it to the Directorate of Information and Technology for processing of Payment.
After final approval, the financial assistance of Rs. 5,000/- will transferred directly in the bank account of beneficiary student through DBT Mode.
Beneficiary Student can also check the Application Status of Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana by Login on the Beneficiary Management Ecosystem Portal.
