  • Haryana Government started the DAYALU Scheme on 1st of April 2023.
  • The full name of this scheme is Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana. (DAYALU)

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries

  • Haryana Government under its Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana will provide the following benefits to eligible beneficiaries in case of natural or accidental death or disability as per their age :-

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled

  • Financial Assistance in case of death or disability will only be applicable if the following eligibility conditions of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana of the Haryana Government will be met :-
    • Only Permanent Residents, Antyodaya Families of Haryana State are Eligible.
    • The Annual Family Income should not be more than Rs. 1,80,000/- per year.
    • Applicant/ Claimant should have Parivar Pehchar Patra/ Family ID.
    • The Age of the Beneficiary should be more than 6 years but not more than 60 years.
    • Financial Assistance will be paid only for Death or Permanent Disability caused by Accident.

Claim Procedure Rules

  • In case of the death of a beneficiary, the claim will be filed by the nominee on behalf of the beneficiary.
  • Financial Assistance amount will be paid to the Head of the Family in case of the death of a beneficiary.
  • Whereas, in case of disability, the financial assistance Deen Dayal Updhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana will be paid directly to the claimant i.e. the beneficiary itself.
  • If there is a death or permanent disability of the Head of the Family, then the financial assistance under this scheme will be paid to the eldest member of the family.
