- Department of Women and Child Development of Delhi Government is the implementing department of this scheme.
- This popular name of this scheme in Delhi are “Delhi Widow Pension Scheme” or “Delhi Financial Assistance Scheme for Widows, Divorced, Separated, Destitue and Deserted”.
- Monthly Pension as Financial Support will be provided from Delhi Government side to all eligble women under Pension Scheme to Women in Distress.
- Beneficiary Women will get Pension of Rs. 2,500/- per Month under this scheme for their day care expenses.
- Eligible Women who are Permanent Residents of Delhi or Residing in Delhi for minimum 5 years are eligible to get monthly pension of Rs. 2,500/- per month.

Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled
- Delhi Government will provide monthly pension of Rs. 2,500/- to those women applicants who fulfill the below mentioned eligibility criteria of Pension Scheme to Women in Distress :-
- Woman Applicant should be a Permanent Resident or Resident of Delhi for Minimum 5 Years.
- Age of Woman Applicant should be more than 18 years.
- Woman Applicant’s Family Annual Income should not be more than Rs. 1,00,000/-.
- Aadhar Card is mandatorily required to at the time of Apply.
- If Woman Applicant enjoys the benefit of any other pension scheme the she is not eligible.
- Apart from all that only those Woman Applicant are eligible to apply who belongs to any of the following category :-
- Divorced Woman.

Through Online Application Form
- Government of Delhi provides facility to apply for pension under Pension Scheme to Women in Distress through Online Application Form.

- Applicant Women will have to open E District Portal and have to Select Apply Service as shown below.
- Click on Register and Fill Aadhar Number.
- It is mandatory to have Aadhar Card Number in order to apply for this scheme.

- Aadhar Number of Aplicant Women will be verified by E District Portal.
- Portal will sent User ID and Password on registered mobile number of beneficiary.
- With the help of received User ID and Password, Login again in E District Portal.
- Choose Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress from Services Tab.
- Delhi Pension Scheme to Women in Distress Online Application Form will come in which Women Applicant will have to fill personal details, and contact details carefully.
- Beneficiary Applicant will also have to upload the self attested documents on the portal.
- Carefully preview the filled information in the Application Form before submitting it.
- After that Click on Submit Button to Submit the Application Form.
- Portal will alott the Registration Number of Pension Scheme to Women in Distress of Delhi Government sent on the beneficiary mobile number.
- District Welfare Officer of Department of Women and Child Development will verify the received Documents and Application Forms.
