Introduction of Mahila Samriddhi Yojana: A Brief Insight
- Election will going to be conducted by Election Commission of India on 05-02-2025 and after that the result of election will be announced by ECI on 08-02-2025.
- Bharatiya Janta Party, Congress Party, Aam Aadmi Party and all their competitor parties started their election campaign and fighting with their tooth and nail to win the legislative election of Delhi.
- Every political party is engaging in announcing pre election promises for the people of Delhi to secure their votes by luring them with their freebies.
- From the time of Karnataka Assembly Election, Congress Party set a precedent to lure voters by announcing welfare schemes for them.
- In Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party first started announcing pre election promises in which the major ones are “Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana” in which monthly Rs. 2,100/- per month will be provided to women, “Sanjeevani Yojana” in which free health care facilities to senior citizens and “Pujari Granthi Samman Yojana” in which Rs. 18,000/- to Pujari of Temple and Granthis of Gurudwaras will be provided on per month basis.
- Then Indian National Congress i.e Congress Party joins the battle by announcing “Pyaari Didi Yojana” in which Rs. 2,500/- per month to women, “Jeevan Raksha Yojana” in which a free of cost health insurance up to Rs. 25 Lakh to people of Delhi, “Yuva Udaan Yojana” for the youths in which one year apprenticeship with monthly assistance of Rs. 8,500/- per month for a year and “Mehngai Mukti Yojana” in which LPG Gas Cylinder at Rs. 500/- with Monthly Family Ration Kit will be provided.
- Now last but not the least, Bharatiya Janta Party is on board and release their election manifesto and announced lots of welfare scheme for the people of Delhi.
- The major announcement done by BJP for women is “Mahila Samriddhi Yojana”.
- The main objective behind starting this scheme is to help poor women financially and also this scheme is specifically intended to cater the announcement of Congress Party and Aam Aadmi Party.
- Monthly financial assistance to all eligible beneficiaries will be provided by Bharatiya Janta Party under Mahila Samriddhi Yojana if they win the upcoming assembly election of Delhi.
- Rs. 2,500/- per month under Mahila Samriddhi Yojana will be provided to each women beneficiary directly in their bank account.
- BJP promises that they approve this scheme in their very first cabinet meeting after winning the Delhi election.
- Along with Mahila Samriddhi Scheme, the other major pre election promise of BJP for Delhi People are “Atal Canteen Yojana”, “Chief Minister Matritva Suraksha Yojana” and “Free LPG Gas Cylinders on Holi and Deepavali”.

Benefits Provided to Eligible Beneficiaries
- If in a triangular battle somehow Bharatiya Janta Party manages to win the Legislative Assembly Election of Delhi and forms the next government then the below mentioned benefits will be provided to all eligible women beneficiaries under Mahila Samriddhi Yojana :-
- Monthly Financial Assistance will be Provided to Poor Women of Delhi.
- Women Beneficiaries will get Rs. 2,500/- per month under Mahila Samriddhi Yojana.
Eligibility Conditions Required to be Fulfilled
- If Bharatiya Janta Party wins the upcoming Delhi Assembly Election then monthly financial assistance of Rs. 2,500/- under Mahila Samriddhi Yojana will only be provided to those women beneficiaries who fulfill the following eligibility criteria of scheme :-
- Permanent Resident Women Beneficiary of Delhi are Eligible to Apply.
- Women Beneficiary should be belong to Low Income Group Family.
- The Age of Women Beneficiary should be above 21 Years.
- Remaining Eligibiltiy Conditions will be released after its launch.
Documents Required to be Attached
- Women Beneficiaries will have to attach the following expected documents at the time of availing the benefit of financial assistance of Rs. 2,500/- per month under Mahila Samriddhi Yojana :-
- Domicile Certificate or Any Residence Proof of Delhi.
- Women Aadhar Card.
- Voter Identity Card of Women.
- Bank Account Details with IFSC Code.
- Mobile Number of Beneficiary.
- Certificate of Income.
How Beneficiaries Can Avail the Benefit of this Scheme
- Mahila Samriddhi Yojana is a pre election promise of Bharatiya Janta Party for the people of Delhi.
- This scheme is a direct competition to Congress Party’s “Pyaari Didi Yojana” and Aam Aadmi Party “Mukhyamantri Mahila Samriddhi Yojana”.
- Bharatiya Janta Party will fulfill this pre election promise to provide financial assistance of Rs. 2,500/- per month under Mahila Samridddhi Yojana if People of Delhi cast thier vote to BJP and help the party to form next Government in Delhi.
- After winning the election, newly formed cabined will decide whether accept application forms through Online Application Form or through Online Application Form.
- If application is accepted through Online Application Form, then there might be a possibility that Government will launch dedicated Portal of Mahila Samriddhi Yojana.
- And if the mode of application is through Offline Application Form then Mahila Samriddhi Yojana Application Form can be collected from any District Office of Women and Child Development Department.
- As of now with this pre election promise to launch Mahila Samriddhi Yojana in Delhi, Bharatiya Janta Party didn’t clear its application process.
